I kinda lost interest in Anupamaa with the constant rinse and repeat. I started watching because Dr. Advait and later Anuj Kapadia characters had something new compared to the usual chauvinistic male characters or the human furniture that the male leads and so called heroes of ITV are. But it’s back to being the yes man for the female lead, the usual ITV fare now along with the cringe in the name of ex-in-laws becoming maika, the constant need to be mahaan or Wonder Woman and FOMO regarding goings-on in life of the ex-in-laws.

By ITV drama standards, sar par chot lagne se memory loss hota hai and in Andaaz Apna Apna, style dubara lagne se you get back to your original self. So can we expect the OG Anuj Kapadia that was in the first couple of months of his character entering the show, I might think of getting back to the show.

This current Anuj Kapadia needs to learn that though you love someone immensely, does not make them always right. Don’t put anyone on a pedestal, only to learn they have feet of clay.
