So, lately as my stories are getting more n more reads (*touchwood*), I am also getting some nasty readers who clearly want to spread negativity. They are not my regular readers (even if they are, they never voted or commented before so just stalkers 😡) and then they show up out of blue and start saying ONLY negative things about the plot. It's so tough to still be polite and not let that affect me but no matter how hard I try, it's still gonna prick right?

I ALWAYS encourage my readers to give their honest feedbacks/demands etc, but they have to be my regular, loyal readers who at least sometimes showed their appreciation too... and unless you have been liking the stories so much that you keep track of its updates, why would you not say it too? Uff. I am THIS close to telling them to f*ck off in as much words instead of saying 'good to know' or 'ok' you know? I invest my weeks planning the stories, days thinking about it and hours editing it and in return my only reward is readers' love (majority of them do that, not ignoring it) but when this happens, I just can't help getting bothered.

omg so sorry to hear that it's happening to you Manju. It must be hard to read these negative comments after putting so much hardwork into the stories. I wont dismiss your feelings by suggesting you to ignore their comments because as you said, no matter how much you try, it does hurt

do you know if there is any option to block or report these comments/users? i'm not familiar with wp but hoping there's an option like that

finally, thank you so much for sharing this experience and i really hope these haters go away soon

@SJ show: it's called gaatchora (gatbandhan in hindi). it's a story of three brothers marrying three sisters. The elder brother and his wife are the ML and FL.

@bold: lmao i was telling my mom today that i wonder why they haven't remade it in hindi yet. it's actually a decent show with no bigamy, no two sisters running after one guy and the ML actually trusts his wife 😲 but maybe it's not upto sitara's standards 🤣 on a serious note, if they remake it in hindi, i would love to watch either rhea or sumbul as the FL, ML not sure

Story of 3 brothers marrying 3 sisters does sound unique. IB had 3 brothers but girls werent sisters. I think star one had a show long back on this theme but it wasnt as popular as DMG or MJHT.

Thanks sumya, i knew you'd understand.

I have so much of pent up anger atm and I can't even show it, you know? It's like being fake-polite despite the opposite person being inconsiderate and I am anything but fake. so it's hurting me. I can block them of course, but that doesn't give right message to others you know? I can move my stories to a private blog, I already have one but that will not cater to other people who diligently follow my work. At the end of the day, it's making me sad and stopping me from getting writing inspiration, you see?

I'm sorry for this rant but i need to vent out.😭

oh really? i dont recall any such shows although the concept does sound familiar to me. True, IB had three brothers too but in gaatchora the second brother and his wife (the FL's sister) are both evil and try to hurt the leads often. so it's not a hum saath saath hein type show

@sitara: ikr? 🤣sitara ke liya anupama aur ghum hi kaafi hein. no wonder they are ending imlie because aryan being so faithful is tarnishing sitara's image

yeah i saw the clip after the first post but didn't get a chance to share my thoughts. and unfortunately I have stopped making VMs long back for two reasons: i barely have enough time to make VMs and i keep getting copywrite strikes so it's really disheartening 😭

hmm i see, i wish there were no trolls on the internet. some people think they can hide behind a screen and abuse anyone 😡 maybe you can add a disclaimer on your stories for the haters? like ask people to only participate in constructive criticism or tell them hate comments will not be tolerated? sorry i dont have any good advice in this case
