apologies here my friend, i have not watched Mere Humsafar yet, just some clips of Hania and Farhan on Instagram so can't tell now but Ayesha omer's character had just her father so another woman is not yet introduced...maybe she will come in later parts.

For Ayesha to open up to Fahad like the way she was speaking in the clip in the promo...there has to be some groundwork...at present she is still not in a place where she would share something as personal as Zoya running away with Fahad. I mean this is highly unlikely that ayesha is more close to fahad than basit... when in future bano-fahad will officially happen, than you can think about it as fahad will become family too..

But for now I don't see the reason ayesha asking his help for zoya matter...

I can only hope that the person on phone will not be fahad OR the matter is not related to zoya but basit.

If ayesha thanking him for something related to basit than fahad's involvement makes absolute sense....

Poor guy is not that bad as much ayesha thinks him to be... also only when he'll be closely involved with ayesha's family/sisters , he'll actually understand their problems and might realize just giving money is not always the solution ... it works with ayesha's mom but these girls need someone to support them.. stand by them.. so how good it will be to see basit becoming that brother figure for bano nd zoya.. this will automatically help ayesha to change her views about him.. nd they might get on track too..

There’s so much that’s left to be unravelled in this story. I just saw after reading your post that ARY has tagged Ayesha Omer in the promo and she was shooting for Habs until a few days ago. So I’m thinking that with the way things are going for Ayesha and Basit, would it even make sense to have Soha return? I mean she seemed pragmatic enough to say goodbye and she was neither positive nor negative. She didn’t feel anything for Basit. What could her role be now?

There’s also Saba Hameed (Shahjahan from Mere Humsafar) who’s part of the cast. Maybe she’s related to Basit like an aunt or something. Hope she’s a positive character…

Would it be wrong to say that I simply now crave to see Ayesha and Basit developing a relationship without such added complications?

I noticed from what you wrote that you have not watched the initial episodes...will join in Krinya's recommendation and say that every single episode is enjoyable. And I absolutely agree that habs deserves the appreciation it is getting...

I hv binge watched episodes from their marriage nd few clips of earlier episodes...

I am yet to catch first 6 episodes if I am not wrong..

The biggest problem with ongoing drama is the wait for freaking whole week ...lol

Irsa Ghazal should be a national treasure. What an amazing actress...like seriously! Also as Max said in this thread, she was such a wonderful MIL...such a rare character in our tv dramas.

I loved her role, i certainly never imagined they would kill her off but then that's how Ayesha and Bait would be progressing now, becoming each other's support.

Have you watched O rangreza, Ishq jalebi(this was a loud one but she made my stomach hurt with the laughs), and Ruswai - Isra Gazhal has done three totally different roles now and I love her for that variety she brings every time.

Sadia truly is a very tragic figure. She did give off this air of loneliness. I have a pet idea in my head that after leaving Salman and Basit, her marriage did not last too long...maybe four or five years. But by then she had burnt her bridges, or maybe her own ego had prevented her from returning to Salman or Basit's life.

That image of her lying on that couch surrounded by the letters Basit wrote to her as a child will haunt me. Sadia died, sad and full of guilt and regret.
