When I was a Newbie, I wasn't allowed to Quote anyone because the system doesn't allow any hyperlinks in posts by Newbies. I used to edit out the brackets to keep the quoted text.

If the system has been tweaked to allow Quotes by Newbies, that's good.

Yes, I got a notification for HereAsMyself's quote. Maybe Newbies are now allowed to quote posts. You can only confirm whether the system has been tweaked or not to allow quotes by Newbies from the Site Admin :)

I did. I have had no problems quoting posts since I joined!

The only thing I have been unable to do is post links because I'm still a newbie. I'll get to do that after 50 posts, I think.

Please note that you can send in the stories in either English or Hindi. Hinglish isn't allowed. Some food names (and other proper nouns) will be in Hindi, and that's ok in a English story, but avoid stories like "It was raining heavily jab usko uska dil Mila"
