People just care for their political views and not for victims’ pain. The discussion around TKF here on the forum reflected well on lot of people’s compassion.

Already this issue is not very important for them. The way these people talks about 2002 they never talks about 1984 or kashmiri pandits issue.

I never said that all hindus are bad and all hindus are sanghis unlike kashmiri files who paint every muslim in the end is evil so yeah its agenda driven because it was created to spread hate and the consequences ppl saw in form of hate speeches after movie.It was to divide the two communities and they were successful because they got what they wanted .During 1984 many hindus saved sikhs and so i don't hate hindus or have grudges against them because i know its all about poitics.

And about feeling the pain of KP i think no one can feel more than me because i know how my loved one have to leave their country in 1984 to save their lives and was not able to return.I can see anguish and pain their eyes and so i know fro where kps are coming from.

No political party is saint all they have agenda and they divide ppl to create hate and for their vote politics

The biggest lesson to be learned by films like Jogi and TKF is that time and again we have been played at the hands of people in power. Differences created by religion and politics helps no one and only destroys the lives of the innocent. It’s difficult for art to be beyond politics and propaganda but we should always look at the bigger picture - hatred kills.

I read enough and have enough knowledge from various sources. On this very forum, I have always actively participated in Operation blue star and 1984 riots discussion. My father told me about this horrid incidents when I was in school and it made me research n read more on the subject.

@bold — did you see the movie? It doesn’t paint all Muslims as bad. It paints reality of what happened in Kashmir valley in 90s. It’s sad that some aggressive videos came out after the movie release but no violence has happened to Muslims after the movie. On the other hand, 5-6 Hindus got beheaded after the whole Nupur debacle. But chalo koi nai: Hindus mare hai na. Toh it’s ok. 🤷‍♀️

I empathize with KPs and with 1984 riots victims. This movie Jogi should also receive equal amount of public acceptance as TKF got.

Oh nobody brought bjp in this thread except Jogi supporters.

Downplaying TKF to elevate Jogi is selective activism. Jogi talks about genocide and so did TKF. Both are important!!

When you are talking about Operation Blue Star and 1984 Sikh Genocide, Congress names is for sure to come up coz of their involvement. Don’t like it, skip past the comment. It’s an open forum.

I was called Khalistani here in this forum just for being a Punjabi guy. Few members supported that troll Fantus for saying so. He is here in this thread as KRK_Rocks.

That's sick 🤢 I had the same experience as well during that time, people like that getting support just reaffirms so many points for me. Hindu-Punjabis standing with the farmers were labelled with the same traitor and anti tags as us Sikh-Punjabis because they couldn't take the unity between these two communities. Honestly, it has put me off India so much. And now this thread is turning into another BJP vs Congress..

This film will never get the same receival as TKF, NimbuMirchi. Mark my words. And we all know why.
