Kanal lodged the complaint long ago. He has got nothing to do with the arrest today. It's Kjo/Ranbir and team probably searched for his record and found there is a case filed against him and used it through political/Ambani connection.

I really hope none of the Bollywood personalities are behind this. How long can they keep him in jail? Eventually he’ll be out and claim victory and use this whole ordeal as proof that he’s the best critic and everyone’s afraid of him. He always does but after this he’ll have something tangible to use as evidence, even if it may not be true.
