Seriously after spending half my life in America...I still am not able to pick up the American accent...I still speak the way Indians do....BTW I personally think that the Indians(Desis) speak the the most clear English....👍🏼

I mean that's all great in theory. She still has a career to make. And unlike most Indians who go to the US, she doesn't have a community in the industry to huddle up in.

Irrfan Khan, Kal Penn, Simone Ashley, Senthil Ramamurthy, Dhanush, Aziz Ansari... the list goes on. Not including Ben Kingsley because few people realized he was half Indian when he became famous. And Freddie Mercury was a singer, so I suppose he doesn't count.

She can't play the role of a white American or an African American....so the accent is not going to help....she can play the roles of brown people......there are lot of successful actors from other countries who never tried to hid their accents.....
