That doesn't mean he was any right. He used to share room with Shruti every night when she had cancer & Imon used to manage all alone post delivery and took care of Pekhom. For me that was too disturbing to watch. The emotional intimacy in Shruti and Ronno conversation was much more than Virat's and Pakhi. Yes you can say Ronno used to call Shruti aapni that was better when with RK he was very casual friendly & comfortable in touching her. Ronno is better in sense he always treated everyone on same level not like Virat who's soft with everyone and harsh with Sai but soft with her based on his accordance. For Ronno Shruti was some devi. Ronno told Imon to wait sometime outside until he finishes off having conversation with Shruti in their bedroom. Idk what makes you think Ronno was some amazing character. He was so nasty with Imon right after RK's fake pregnancy track after Babas heart attack track, he'd not let Imon stay near his dad, told RK to take care of him then he'd not bring food for Imon but brought food for RK although both stayed awake whole night to take care of his dad. His reasoning was Imon can eat by herself as it's her college she can have food in canteen, doesn't need to do drama of bringing food for her etc. Yes he used to put RK at her place many a times but he super unlikable unpredictable peculiar fickle minded most of the time & just like Virat he'd always blame Imon for everything...

Whatever I saw of Rono, regarding RK, it didn’t come anything other than family member or as a friend. Don’t know about sruthi. Pakhi here is more vile… that’s why virat here is problematic for me. Why on earth he has to marry her. Tell me one reason that will stick to his character, so called love for sai and his righteousness? I can’t think of any plausible reason other than he ‘wanted’ to for the sake of ‘adopted’ kid. Very flimsy reason.

also if pakhi is changed, how will she accept this marriage: she is the same woman devoid of any self respect or repentance who caused so much damage to a family which involved children. I would have walked right out of the house…. As an indication I changed .

But here she is in the same house and virat married her!! Rono I knew would never do that. He knew his wife was Alive and he was angry but only helped Rk move on. RK also let him go. That is the change!! Rono can have ego which stopped him from reaching out to emon but will not compromise to marry this woman.

I am asking genuinely, wanted to know. Is there any valid reason for virat to do what he did except for his own selfish reasons?

Well Imon was never shown supposedly dead on the show so we won't know. I personally don't buy excuses of Ronno doing that as family member. He used to talk of having rights on her as a friend too 🙄

I know Vankar is capable of pulling horrible things but at this point Virat Pakhi having biological kid seems far fetched. They can't show ML having kid with the vamp (she hasn't changed at all). In Uttaran they brought twist to show Tapasya wasn't actually carrying Veer's child although they also were married in real lives (having said that ph wasn't biased towards them but they too had loads of infuriating scenes throughout) it was someone else's because audience will never accept ML impregnating the PL/vamp although Tapasya slept with him when he was intoxicated & emotionally vulnerable due to FL hurting Veer constantly.
