It seemed In Telugu states no one was interested to watch it after the trailer release but box office is total surprise! At this rate it will earn 100 crores within a week but WOM is too bad I'm wondering what will happen from Day-2!

Telugu audience stopped watching puri movies long back. Upar se looking at the trailer they thought it is copy of puri's own Telugu hit movie "ANOTA".And music is not according to their taste . As a Telugu myself I saw everyone wrote it off and no one was interested to watch it and they thought it is going to be utter flop at BO in Telugu states.. Also even movies like Karthikeya -2 which came with lot of expectations ( as everyone loved part-1 everyone was looking forward to part-2) didn't get that much on Day-1. So for Telugu audience this much BO is really unexpected. I agree advanced bookings were high in Telugu states but still this is higher than expected. I think people watched it thinking it is Pan india movie toh kuch toh content hoga but 😆

It's been long time Telugu audience stopped watching Chiranjeevi movies😆..He entered politics in 2008(started political party) and took a very loong gap from movies. In past 3-4 yrs he did 2 or 3 movies which became utterflop.So no hopes on godfather too unless it is too fresh in content for Telugu audience. It is remake of blockbuster Malayalam movie " Lucifer".. Telugu audience generally love Tamil and Malayalam movies, so mostly they must have watched Lucifer, so I highly doubt any Telugu audience will watch it's remake😆.No one is even aware much about it's trailer release too I feel😆

I loved Lucifer, Mohan lal's films are class apart. I hope this one turns out to be good. I saw his last film with Ram Charan, that also didn't work. I saw it on prime, was slow in parts.

Yes it's Acharya .It didn't work at BO. I have not watched it. Won't watch it too😆
