ARYLIE 250 - Page 2

I first got a glimpse of the show in Feb 2021.I was changing channels on TV and Imlie was being telecast on SP. There was a scene of AKT and Malini going on where he was assuring her that he loves her only. Imlie was outside the room and got hurt hearing that. I wondered why it was so as she looked so young.I was curious about what relationship she shared with Adi. After the scene ended I switched off my TV. I didn't bother to find out anything about it.After a month or two I came across the show again. This time I saw a scene in PD where Dev chaturvedi was apologizing to Meethi. AKT found out about Imlie-Malini being half sisters. That day I found out the show's name and checked its plot on Wikipedia. The story was so complex that I forgot about it within few days.

After a few months I was watching Ghum hai kisi ke pyar mein (yes! I watched that show😂)and a short video of Imlie appeared on my feed where AkT was telling malini the truth about his and Imlie's marriage. I still didn't watch the show as I thought since Malini is the 3rd wheel she will eventually turn negative knowing ITV. But when I understood that it is a remake of IK,i was surprised as there the PL wasn't negative for the first time. So I started watching Imlie too. I watched only for Malini and her journey. But little did I know that my initial thought would come true. I stopped watching the show and only checked updates. Towards the end of September I stopped checking updates too. In Nov I somehow found out about imlie leaving Adi and watched the episode of her walking out.

After that in Feb this year I saw the promo of Malini PF and started watching again. I actually only wanted to watch only the PF but then the AryLie wedding promo came. I was curious and wanted to know how this would pan out so kept watching it. I didn't realize that within one month I got addicted to AryLie. When the jhadoo promo came I started giving excuses to myself to keep watching the show and then there was no looking back.

The interesting part is that most people out here got addicted to them in nov-feb phase but believe me I still haven't watched those episodes and have fallen in love with them. I don't know what what I would do if I watch those😂

PS -i knew this is going to be so so long and hence was asking the question in my previous reply. Apologies for the long post. If anyone does not want to go through it seeing it's length I won't blame him /her. 😅

All I can say is I got sucked into this vortex in the most unsuspecting manner.

If I have to say it in Aryan's words, 6 saal se I was immune to ITV and moved on knowing that I would never get what I was searching here. Main pathar thi 😂. Aryan and Arylie ne mujhe mein phir se ITV ke liye moh jagaya only to brutally snatch it away eventually😭.

Literally main jo bhi video dekhun hotstar pe, I used get the car push promo as ad. Again another Aryan's dialogue parallel 😆. Main jahan jaati thi woh promo wahan .I was too irritated. One day I gave it a try just bcoz I had nothing else to watch and wanted something to run in background while I was doing some monotonous work.Coincidentally it was Malini PF epi. But what caught my attention was the Yeh dooriyan seq. I remember I literally stopped doing what I was doing, re-winded it and watched it again. And the way Aryan cares for her when she returns melted me. Both these scenes tugged at my heart strings like no other in the last few years.

But I still didn't start watching at this point. A few weeks later when I casually opened to see what's going on, I see Arylie's initial marriage scene and their fight for remote,pandit wala seq. This piqued my interest and I slowly started watching regularly and by the actual shaadi epi,I graduated to watching the epi at 6 AM and participating in IF and the rest as they say is history😆

In hindsight, I've steered clear of falling into this trap for months even though the car push promo was omnipresent. It took only one dejected walk and a melancholic song to make me my drop my guards and fall into this vortex again. 🙆🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.

Now, I have a sense of Deja vu where I feel like I'm back to the day 6 years back when I decided to move on from ITV bcoz of a similar incident with another show. ITV and mera rishta hamesha tragedy hi kyun hai😭.

I will always cherish the two months that I have watched and loved Aryan and Arylie. The pals I have made here and the life lessons I have learned from Aryan are somethings I will always have with me for the rest of my life.

PS: That promo of Imlie pushing the car off the building was literally everywhere. I remember watching it and thinking to myself "Why must Gul's heroines always be so extra?"🤣

Not really. Just have a broad idea of what's going on.

Too much importance and screen space to the child actress put me off and I took a break. And the news that followed didn't help in regaining the interest back.
