Overall not a bad episode. They jumped right into it. I liked the opening scene where we saw Akshu recording at the studio. As expected she was wearing the black hoodie Abhi gave her and the bracelet he gifted. The only physical momentos she has. The hoodie I assume is what she always wears when she is recording to feel Abhi's closeness and help her sing.

Akshu wearing some questionable top 😆 looks like we are back to pre-marriage fashion again. I suspect some horrendous clothes again on the horizon. Fashion police on duty again 😆 to rail at stuff given to PR to wear.

I thought it was cute but sad that Akshu bought broccoli to eat. Despite hating the vegetable she gladly eats it now because it reminds her of him. She isback to writing letters that go no where. When she walked up the cliff I knew she was going to scatter them. Why couldn't she just send those year long letters to Abhi? It certainly would speed up the procees of him seraching for her and get her out of this mess. Which I really hope CVs have some other reason for Akshu sticking to this honor bound contract. But I know I ask for too much 🙄😮‍💨

Abhi 😭💔 he is in so much pain and anger And he is looking super ❤️‍🔥 too! He is haunted by the memories of Akshu. Music that use to give him solace he can no longer listen to. It is just white noise now to block out the memories. His healed hand is now a bitter reminder of the day Akshu left. Her last kiss, her last touch, and the last promise. I am sure he is furious that she broke her promise of telling him if she met up with Kairav, that it appears she close family over him once again, but I also think he is upset that he was in surgery and she couldn't get to him tell him whatever it was that was the problem. That she didn't trust him to help. Instead she just "fled".

The flashbacks were nicely done to catch everyone up to speed to where Abhi and Akshu's minds are at. I suspect we will get more flashbacks and conversations from varuous characters to fill in on the atmosphere of both families in the coming episodes.

I wanted to just 👊 Dr. Khera. I saw Akshu give a secret "I despise you" look to him. Maya to me seems like a spoiled brat and Akshu acts nice to her so she won't throw tantrums 😅

Glad they didn't drag it too much as the trio will be heading to Udaipur where Akshu’s family is. So we will probably get a lot of hits and misses between Abhira. My guess is Abhi will met Maya first and maybe she starts liking him right off the bat.

I want a scene where Abhi finds some of Akshu's letter! That would be so well done!

Entire 1st half with Akshu felt so sad but she's such a lovely person that she doesn't despise Maya inspite of her being the reason for Akshu's life being uprooted

Nice episode! Even though my heart broke for Abhira , it was definitely better than the Rona dhona that we have been serve since last week.

Some mention worthy scenes/highlights were:

1. akshu with the black hoodie and bracelet, eating broccoli- even though everyone expected it but it was still a really nice touch and it instantly connects the audience to abhira’s love and devotion for each other.
2. When akshu was walking along with the envelop with abhi’s name and address-I first thought that maybe she has been writing to him but since Birla house is closed, abhi has not been getting any of her letters. Then I thought, maybe she has written all those letters, kept it in that envelope, never posted it and maybe he will find all those letters sometime in future.. but alas! All my guesses were wrong and madam just threw those letters off the clip. 🤦‍♀️
3. Even though she threw the letter away, but whatever she had written and from the way she was having this monologue with abhi, it really showed how much she has been missing him. Specially when she shouted “oye” only to be met with nothing but silence in return- that was truly heart wrenching for any Abhira fan😭
4. Special appreciation for makers who have done a wonderful job of keeping lead’s character intact through this leap, especially abhimanyu. We were introduced to abhimanyu as a responsible doctor who cared enough even for gundas who were misbehaving with akshu for him to write a prescription for them after beating them up. Abhimanyu has always shown respect and dedication towards his profession and towards other peoples life in general. His decision of not wanting to practice since he doesn’t feel the urge from within is not bigger than a child’s life who is in critical condition. Hats off to abhimanyu and the makers for showing this… he is hero for a reason. So seems like he is not very involved in medical practice but won’t deny help for anyone who truly needs him on humanitarian grounds.. 👏👏👏
5. So as expected, abhi is channeling his anger into extreme sports (for lack of better word). But to me it looked like he is more upset with akshu due to his insecurities of her choosing family over his love. I mean he is obviously heart broken and sad and lost without akshu, but his anger and hurt is due to her choosing family over him. Little does he know that his akshu has not only chosen him but given up her beloved family and given up herself for him and his love. When he will finally get to know the truth and when that realization of how much akshu really loves him will hit him—- that scene will be worth watching. He is going to be so guilty for being angry with her, for not trusting her love and for failing to protect her.
6. Abhi listening to only noise on his headphones as there is no music, no akshu in his life was nicely done—- very symbolic. 👏👏👏
7. Maaya- I don’t know what to feel towards her. Akshu was being nice to her and motivating her, so that makes me think that maybe she is not directly involved in this blackmail deal.. but then from the way she was being happy that she can have ice cream and Akshu cannot- like she didn’t even feel bad or guilty for stealing akshu’s voice and identity and no guilt for gaining fame by using someone else’s talent— that really rubbed me the wrong way and gave me “she’s so insensitive” vibes..
8. Akshu-kunal- maaya angle: don’t know what’s going on and how much maaya is aware, and what really happened that surgery day for akshu to change her mind (since she clearly rejected kunals deal initially)- I am sure we will get to know more about it in upcoming episodes and via flashbacks.
9. Akshu was nice to maaya but as soon as kunal entered- she gave cold vibes to him. Makes me think that maaya may not be aware of how kunal is blackmailing akshu and am happy that akshu has not forgiven kunal for this cheap stunt that he pulled.
10. So we got our first hit and miss today with akshu missing abhimanyu on tv screen. So sad to see them together but not together 🥺.
11. You think she will revisit the selfie and see abhi in background??! I don’t think so.
12. Going by the precap- looks like singing finals are in Jaipur. My guess is that Abhira will keep missing each other until the finals- that’s when abhi will hear her voice and come running thinking akshu is back only to find out that it’s maaya. This is going to confuse him more. No budget for PH— it’s only first episode after leap and they are already plotting to bring all characters living in different parts of world back to Jaipur 😂🤣
13. Something that did not sit well with me in todays episode- I thought akshu will be as devastated as abhi (if not more) in this one year separation. But she looked okay to me- like clearly she was missing abhi badly and still loves him to no end… but she didn’t look lifeless to me (not as much as I was expecting)… but then I though that maybe the makers wanted to keep her core characteristics the same. Like akshu has always been shown like this “never loosing hope, trying to be happy even in the middle of greatest sadness and gloom”- kind of a girl, so maybe even here they wanted to show her hopeful that future will be bright for them… (just my guess 🤷‍♀️)… And she looked scared at the thought of abhi finding out about her.. WHY??? I mean she should be happy to be seeing some sign of reconciliation with her abhi, right?!… let’s see- we will surely see why she wants to avoid abhi finding her at this time in future episodes.. I really hope they give a good reasoning for it.

I am glad they didn't show Abhi becoming a doctor again otherwise that would have glorified her sacrifice. She sacrificed her marriage for his career. I believe that is sort of the point they are making with this track. Hence they refernced the Gift of the Magi story in the dream sequence to foreshadow what was going to happen to Abhira. Akshu sacrificed everything to heal his hand so he could go back to his "first love" (Abhi’s words) which is surgery. But it was sort of meaningless because he cannot live without Akshu.

It was Akshu's desperation to have 1 thing go right in the family. Kairav and Anisha engagement broke, Anisha died and her brother got arrested and families are at war with each other, and Dr. Khera putting pressure on the family that he is going to go away soon and won't be able to do Abhi’s hand surgery. So her choice although foolish but at that moment she was willing to do anything for her Abhi and it was rhe only thing she could do because Dr. Khera was going to walk away. He was suppose to be Dr. Miracle.

This will hopefully close the door on Abhi’s insecurities that Akshu chooses her family over him. Here she choose him. She sacrificed everything for him.

Don’t know if Akshara met Kairav or some Birla cooked up stuff against her so that Abhi can focus on recuperating instead of waiting for Ak to return.

I agree that the initial intensity was clearly back in today’s episode. The change in writers was really detrimental after the confession. I mean the caliber of Harshad and Pranali was not even 50% used. They changed them to teenagers romancing which absolutely didn’t suit both of them. They’re classy actors and writing should do justice to their acting. It was clearly visible in today’s episode. The pace of the episode was also very good. I really hope the writers keep the lead couple as deep, intense, passionate and avoid cheesy romance which just kills the essence of their core. I mean some of the dialogues given to them were so subpar that I don’t even wish to comment

I won't even deny the intensity was what had attracted many of us. Whereas cheesy scenes went well with Akshara cuz she was introduced as a bubbly n dramatic one, n Abhi was the total opposite. Further, the writers were hell-bent on making them cheesy which sometimes was too unbearable, I'm glad the season is going for a reboot.

Additionally, RS also got his priorities straight now with the cinematic promo going continuously on SP, giving IVs, and then SBS entering again n the lives n mainly Initial writers.
