is satyajit ray better than ananya or tiger shroff i guess so

is he better than guru dutt, bimal roy not so sure

anyway i once watched almost all satyajit ray films in a row for about 2 weeks when they were screened free in some film festival long ago

It's a lovely movie and a world classic. But I can definitely see why some would consider it boring.

As catch has mentioned, I really tried but couldn't sit through his movies somehow. From whatever little exposure I have, I prefer Bimal Roy's work. Again speaking from limited exposure only. 😆

Comparison makes no sense

Arthouse / indie cinema and commercial movies require very different skillsets and sensibilities. They both have their own place that don't conflict
