I read about EK's adaptation of Pride & Prejudice where Darcy suspects Elizabeth of having an affir with Bingley. So, Elizabeth marries & sleeps with Bingley just to spite Darcy. 🤣

if they wanna show sleaze and cringe, everyone sleeping with everyone, it should be done unapologetically. Like Greys anatomy does! vahaan par toh the goal is to make everyone sleep with everyone else either as fling or as a serious relationship. The problem arises when they potray 2 people as soulmates, as being forever together but then fail at staying true to that sentiment of "true love" and glorify the perpetrator of wrongs/abuse , make them mahaan and bechaara and make the victim into the one insulted/blamed and punished. Where the person creating problems despite pardafaash is made into a bechaara by makers.

who has suffered the most not just emotionally but also physically, financially- only Sai. every other character including the kids has an outlet or has got the better deal. But Sai is alone. Yes, TRP audience loves to see FL be mahaan, FL fight all odds but not at the cost of zero wins and only losses, torture. its like Sai is getting punished for being kind, righteous, loving and devoted to V and his family.

When she was straightforward and blunt everyone said she should tolerate and pick her battles. When she made adjustments and compromises, she was taken for granted and audience said she was a doormat. Its like not matter what Sai does, its always not enough, she will always fail and she will always be blamed.

I used to watch that show when I was hella young too with my mom 😭 I was enamoured by Pia and Pushkar so my little heart broke when she turned out cunning and got with Ram Kapoor's character 🤣 Every time someone mentions Ekta, that's the show that comes to my mind ! I was literally thinking about it with all the Ekta mentions and then I saw your comment That show really gave trauma to too many kids 😆 I remember an aunty telling once that I shouldn't watch that show back then 🤣

Not only Sai, he is wronging pakhi too since beginning by giving her hopes everytime. If he was good human being as he claims to be, he could have asked her to move on after samrat death instead of wanting her to be surrogate. When people have this innate quality of pacifying in the name of maintaining peace and has confrontation allergy, they cause more destruction than building foundation. Virat's character is like that. He wants to please everyone but causes the most damage.

- Asking P to marry Samrat to make him happy,

- impromptu vaada to Pakhi was absolute to pacify her,

- marrying Sai to pacify GC wasis,

- married Sai without informing CN wasis. the list goes on

In all the cases he had many other paths that Virat could have taken, but he chose the "a moments peace" option. Married Sai while giving P hope. Leaving in both lingering resentment for him as well open hatred for each other. Not thinking through options. Bas ek exam likh kar bada post le liya.

People like that can seem gentle sweet, peace loving etc, but not really. They themselves cannot fathom the damage they cause and cannot deal with it if they are shown the mirror. They are short term success leaders. A good leader sees bigger picture, evaluates all the options, sees thru the long term effect and takes decisions even tough ones.

Virat did take good calls eg medical admission (he hadn't expected objection and there wasn't any time to postpone to "sahi waqt"), for working in the hosp (postponed until was shoved in the fore front). They cannot handle uthal puthal, but unki jaan par padhi toh he can do a very good job.

Anyone can walk bare feet on a rough path, maybe slow down the pace, but yet reach the destination with even bloody feet. But imagine walking even a few steps with a "kankar" in your shoes or socks. Most pacifiers are "kankars"

The pacifying leaders will come from different angles to soothe you and nag you until you accept their POV I wont call them manipulators because their intentions are not to hurt. Yet they get to the same result as a manipulator. You can call out a manipulator but very very hard to avoid a "peace maker".

Sai continue to stay away from Virat. Hard decision but a good one in the long run. Yes, Saavi and Vinu need both parents and it is possible to make it work.

Its not a Sairat story for makers. As I read on twitter once, Its PL Ghum in Virat ka pyaar. This is why Sai and her traumas are always sidelined and focus is brought back to PL and Virat. Sairat became popular so they keep them relevant by giving few scenes but there is no emotional depth. The way they addressed PL’s issue, many confrontations of her and Virat about their past, in fact major Sairat events ended up having PL and Virat confrontations. Confession was executed completely from PL’s POV. Had no emotional quotient for Sairat.

Till date whole team posts as if PL is some adarsh bahu n dukhiyari nari. Neil’s comment aout PL’s predicament shows how delusional we are about the script and what they want to show. Its us who were blind to see it or we see it but refuse to believe it, cause we love Sai/Sairat.

Peace maker don't mind starving someone, ousting woman at midnight.

If his intentions are right, he would have genuinely accepted his past with pakhi instead of making his wife a liar. He would have strongly condemned pakhi from entering his personal space, he would have maintained distance from pakhi after cafe kaand instead of harping she is his ache dost. He wouldn't have asked Shruti to lie to sada about her feelings.

He wanted pakhi to be surrogate. Whom that was to peace?

He could have put stop to pakhi advances strongly. But he didn't.

In all his decisions,there is one common thing i.e image consciousness, mahaan syndrome.

If he has good intentions,he would have made himself responsible when his decisions destroyed many lives. Instead he is like I am mahaan.

To make sai agree for surrogacy, he told her it is not pakhi,it is kaku who wants her to be surrogate despite pakhi begging him to make her surrogate.

He told shruti he went to meet sai to clear misunderstandings but she didn't listen when in real he went to sai to taunt her for saving his job.

He kept deal blame on sai when in real it is he who made the deal.

There are many instances like this.

Twisting facts according to convenience is one kind of manipulation.
