There’s an incredible amount of negative buzz around Alia-Ranbir and zero buzz for Brahmastra.

I’m appalled at their lack of interest to promote a movie they dedicated 10 years to. At least fake some enthusiasm for the sake of Ayan who wasted his youth, crores of rupees, and is narrating Hindi nibandhs about the movie on their YouTube channel.

I dunno, I generally don’t like the idea of “cancelling” someone outright. It’s good for people to introspect and bring about a change in their behaviour. Tbh the things Ranbir is being called out for now were never addressed properly in the past. Reddit, Insta, YT etc is so prominent at this moment in time that it takes minutes for something to blow up.

It started with Katrina fans but a lot of neutrals are discussing it now too. Maharani is right, on twitter at least there’s a lot of negative buzz about Ranbir. How is that translating into real world, I don’t know. The lack of promotions at this point is very surprising. But I read a snippet that they will be in Chennai today or tomorrow for some event.

After years of mansplaining, being inappropriate, being just down right rude and disrespectful to his female costars, at the end it was fat shaming his own wife that triggered all this backlash.

It is great he is being called out about it by people noticing patterns of him being indifferent/mean over the years. But the fact that people are bringing it up constantly, spending so much time digging up and sharing these clips, he is still getting publicity and staying in focus. Let's see if there are repercussions.
