Actions speak louder than words!

Something contradicting an earlier post of mine about “Words” being most lethal. Words have the potential to tear through one’s soul and unlike physical wound they may never heal or can leave a lifelong scar.

So, where do these two paradoxical statements fit in together?

Virat and Sai’s story started off on the wrong foot. The foundation of their marriage was not ideal and was shaky right from the moment of its inception. On the risk of being too crude, it wouldn’t be wrong if I say this marriage was built on KJ’s pyre or his carcass. Their relationship always bore that burden. Over time they started to know more about each other as the layers started to peel, and in “deal” marriage they started to find love, hence the desire to change the expiry to eternity. But the burden that their marriage carried of the conditions and circumstances continued and played heavy on the love. Thus, the love that was born out of a conditional marriage was like a twin edged sword emerging from the very pyre. This love drew them to each other changing the dynamics and the rules of this marriage, but it also gave rise to insecurities and fear of losing each other. Hence, despite the understanding and faith, their insecurities and fear continued to thrive whenever a conflict arose. Their desperation to be with each other also gave rise to them testing their trust on each other. For their own satisfaction and confidence in their relationship.

And it is the nature of their love and marriage that makes words more powerful than actions here. And here it proved detrimental to their marriage. The remnants are there and they need to be burnt down. We expected this to happen during remarriage, but unfortunately they were still sailing in the same ship, where they never addressed or spoke about any of the lingering open wounds. Their ego, over confidence, or to keep it all pleasant for the sake of their love.

Referring to Sai’s dialogue before leaving “Duniya ke saamne iss rishte ko ek khubsoorat jaaba pehna rakha tha. Aa gayi na is rishte ki asliyat bahar. Kitna batsoorat nikla”.

Metamorphically, it was so true. Their love was the “Jaaba” that was covering or holding back the debris that finally spilled after piling up for years. The ugly truth of the marriage was out.

Conditions were the base of their marriage and they broke up due to conditions that they tried to impose on each other. Because that is what they learnt from their experience. Laying conditions to force each other.

Their actions have fallen short to convince and to remove the fears. And mostly the words never succeeded actions that aligned to it. Which only strengthened the fears and insecurities. Trust played a vital deterrent. Doubt that the other can or could leave them one day.

Sai always speaks the truth, Virat always keeps his promise……………WORDS!!

While they vouch for each other on these qualities in front of the world, they also tend to take each other on the same terms “WORDS”.

So, what is lacking? The actions and the feelings behind them. Feelings behind the “UNSPOKEN WORDS”.

Let me take this example. We have discussed this before. That Virat takes Sai for granted. As his wife he says things to her, scolds her in front of the family. Justification is because he treats them as one unit, and as a spouse he expects her to understand the circumstances. An expectation he cannot have from others. So even when he knows she is right, he tries to persuade her to back down or tone down. He gets angry at her, talks rudely in presence of his family. All this because he expects her to understand and not others.

This expectation to read his unspoken emotions behind a seemingly opposite words is his over confidence, not realizing he has failed to win that level of understanding. Both are fighting their individual battles with insecurities, fears and EGO. In fact. these only caused more damage to create a contradictory picture.

Their relationship lacked the maturity to read the “Unspoken Words” and comprehend the feelings running behind the actions. In Virat’s case actions have been very conflicting when it came to his family, especially Patralekha.

What we are talking about is, Sai to understand Virat’s unsaid words, the reasons behind his actions and not the literal meaning of his words. And Virat to believe and support Sai even if it means going against his family and Patralekha. A credibility they proudly assumed to have earned for themselves. Unfortunately, their relationship like I said, had yet to grow to that level and gain that maturity.

Like Sadhika had put this so aptly, “sai will learn to see him beyond his words. Virat will learn to see her beyond her action of leaving him.”

For this their past has to be buried/burnt down. This separation is like a fresh start, when they come together purely because they love each other and want to be with each other. There are no conditions, no accusations, no mention of the past and burden of their dead relationship. The trust, unconditional love, with complete understanding.

All their conflicts have risen from external factors or people and they got pulled into it. Hence, showing that weakness that any outsider had the power to cause rift. Their bond required that strength, that trust and understanding that it would withstand any of these external elements.

This separation will allow them to see each other for their actions, trust them for what they truly feel, because they will not be believing the words here. So only how they have led the years of separation, how they coped with the longing for each other, the love that continued to survive in separation and death will give them the confidence in each other…their love.

When they will read beyond words, their actions will have more meaning. They are able to read and understanding of each other. They will find their unshakeable trust and security in each other.

And their relationship will reach that maturity where “Actions will speak louder than words”.

Waise I saw the promo again and maybe whatever is shown in it, reflects what will gradually happen post-leap. Like Vinu will meet Sai at the camp and will want the doctor set. This has been established by many. Then, the whole Virat buying a doctor set and police car is for both Vinu and Savi. Him ringing on a doorbell is probably the premise of him meeting Savi/Sai to give her a police car toy after knowing her. Sai turning around as if she’s awaiting someone and voiceover about intezaar is to depict her longing to be found by V. So this could be V being with both families, but not in “that” way 😆

I would partly agree with you. Because it is not just about Sai and Virat's story. Yes they are personification of marital journey, but it is beyond that. About family dynamics and equations and how each grows and finds their right/wrong path

My assumption is that she would have seen the adopted child with V or V & P. With the child named Vinayak/Vinu, she would have assumed that her baby survived and is safe with V.

But this also gave rise to further resentment as it only strengthened her belief that V only wanted Vinu and hence didn’t come looking after her.

I'm not sure if they are playing the suspense game on this aspect too, but as a mother Sai would have never emerged from that guilt. But so far they have not shown her going that route.

But still, I have yet to see her longing for her son too. Vinu has not been mentioned by Sai at all. Even if she knows him to be safe she would have thought about him. So we don't know how this is getting played.

I also feel the same. Thats why she removed her mangalsutra and bangles thinking about VP being together with Vinu. But she doesn't know Vinu s adopted.

She would have gone there to inform about Savi but then returned back disappointed.

There will be a flashback to show what happened on the day of the accident. Everything will be clear then. Also, there was a spoiler by gossip tv that said that Sai will hide after seeing Virat at the accident site. But in present day, Sai looks like angry wife who is pissed off because her husband did not come to take her. So that theory also falls flat.
