sorry completrly disagree.... south movies are best
tamil kannada telugu malayalam all give content films
This sense of judgement associated with liking or disliking films is stupid
Omg how can educated ppl like pushpa? It was entertaining. The dialogues became catch phrases, songs caught on like fire and allu arjuns performance was appreciated .
Omg how is rrr a hit? It was entertaining . The visuals , the action, the dancing, the pace ….dosent bore for a single second ….it’s got major west filmmakers and critics going gaga…
Bottom line is find a gripping story that entertains And audience will lap it up…has got nothing to do with peoples “sophistication” and “education”
As evidenced by the recent failures , making an entertaining film is harder than you think
Karthikeya 1 was good, it is in genre of Indiana jones with adventure and mythology woven in . It is not massy or crass and weaves its story well and to make a adventure movie with 10-15 cr is no joke. Hero”s character is well written, he has scientific bent of mind and then discovers all these stories. It is not perfect but fun. Nikhil is good actor and suits the role. The 1st part is on YouTube, those who love such movies will like it. I love such movies so will watch 2nd part too. I think the way they have woven mythology with adventure is resonating with audience
Pushpa is one of the most popular south movie in my native. Mere pure rishtedaar aur friends ne yeh movie dekhi hai. Kids loves Pushpa's style & of course songs of Pushpa movies especially that srivalli stepOriginally posted by: Rocky.Bhai
i wonder why pushpa became a hit in hindi👎🏼
I am going to see Karthikeya 1 and 2 😍
Man the deliberate attempts to create a storm by some of these chauvinistic posts.
Attention seeking 101.
Imagine how desperate one is for attention if the only way to get it is by making 'crass' posts about an entire region.
Don't think anyone needs to explain or justify 'South' Indian cinema here be it Telugu, Tamil, Kannada or Malayalam movie industries.
EOD the audience likes their content. And atleast most of those movies have 'content' (which is hard to find in some/most BW movies these days) 😆
It's not like BW has any legs to stand on 😆
List niklegi toh BW will have probably 10:1 ratio with the other SI movie industries when it comes to massy or so called 'crass' movies.
PS - This is coming from an AA fan who hated Pushpa.

South movies are cringe 👎🏼
Malayalam movies are top rated in Indian movies when it comes to story and content if not whole South movies. And Tamil also.
Did you watch all South movies to call them cringe? If not and still call them cringe, then you are ignorant!
Which movies you like? Bollywood or Hollywood?
Bollywood is pathetic but South is no better. Good thing about South movies though is that they don't peddle propaganda through their movies and are rooted in culture. Otherwise they are equally trashy imo.
So you are telling whole Indian movies are trash?
Which films you like? Hollywood?

I liked pushpa, it was well written, you remember all the supporting characters, how many movies can claim that. I never though AA will fit such a role, he acted very well and nailed the dialogues, how many stars can carry off such roles
regarding the problematic bits, we want everything to fit a woke template, how on earth will a uncouth labourer from the lowest strata in 80s romance, with wine and cheese? he is grey charcter, as was ab im agneepath, or in don. the writer/director make such scenes because they have seen such a world
the problem with BW they havent seen a world beyond sobo and london
was the scene neccessary no, is it problematic yes, does it fit in film context yes.
