What else are tax-payer dollars for if not betterment of the people? Tax is quite literally intended for redistribution from the rich to the poor. Except in America, it actually flows the other way round. And yes, loan repayment isn't a continuous solution. Biden needs to cap fees in schools. But corporations are the most important citizens in America. The least he can do is deliver on his promise to do a one-time refund to at least save one drowning generation.

Ukraine is whataboutism. It is USA's proxy war anyway. Who else is going to pay for it?
