I love SANAM band. Sanam Puri is one of my favorite singers. Their renditions of old songs are so close to my heart. But Ghum managed to make me cringe at one of their best remakes.

"Jaane woh kaise log the" just DID NOT fit the scene. Out of all the heart-ripping gut-wrenching songs there were, they chose this one?!

The song they chose gave me vibes of one-sided love. Like when your crush is getting married, or your ex that you're still in love with is moving on with someone else. It did NOT fit the scene where two supposed eternal lovers are being separated by death. Where a man is supposedly losing his wife and new born son.

They could've used so many better songs. The one that comes to my mind is "Humari adhuri kahani." What other songs can you guys think of?

I haven't seen those episodes. Stopped watching the show after the Devi Tai track. Just tuning in to watch Sai escape that hellhole.

Regardless, my opinion still stands. That song was a shit choice in today's episode.
