I get that. I think this video in part is definitely an attempt at appeasing the right people, for lack of a better phrasing here.

But what I meant by “lack of coherence” was that perhaps the script isn’t clear enough in explaining the actual concept of astras and what’s the main theme of the movie. His videos on top of everything else also seem like mini tutorials on the concept of the movie. Did I make sense here? 😆

I saw the video and honestly the way ayan is speaking, it looks like he is reading from teleprompter, it looks too forced!

On a serious not, These people,whole Brahmastra team was so aggressive before Shamsera release which was so not needed....People get confused between Brahmastra and shamsera...It was so unprofessional of Ranbir to even allow that...yes shamsera was a crappy film but it could get a good buzz if these two film didn’t overlap...but when it is time to promote, these dumb people are doing it so that they can blame the boycott shit if it flops and they believe people don't understand their strategy.... 😡😡😡😡😡....Kjo,his beti and beti ka pati deserves a reality check.. Hope they will get it soon ✌️✌️✌️✌️

Why do i feel they're uncertain about the ideal means to market the film?

They said it was an Indian Marvel-style film ( seeing craze for MCU amongst Indians) tried to capitalise on the buzz around RanLia's wedding, , and are now overselling Ayan's attachment to the Himalayas and the gods by releasing such clips.

It's also amusing that up until the film Shamshera, Ranbir and Aloo's chemistry served as their main selling point, pushing astras to the side. However, now they're attempting to promote the film using Ayan's persistence & Astras 😆.

Are they aiming to divert attention from the Shamshera star and the Leading Nepo product?

Kjo has also ceased promoting Alia on KWK in recent episodes.

Even though he is discussing his dream idea, there is a strange lack of clarity and conviction.

It seems that they combined 5–6 vastly liked things by the audiences in recent times & anticipated that the audience would be enthralled by it but are disheartened , scared & confused after seeing opposite reaction to it .

I think they are just uncertain, period. They’ve halted promotions after Shamshera’s failure. Movie is coming out in 3 weeks. Compare that to how Dharma has been aggressively promoting Liger all over India for a few weeks now. It’ll probably be a month of promotions by the time it releases next Friday.

Yeah they are going where the wind is blowing!!

They should have actually started the promotion with giving the audience a peek into the astras rather than selling it as a love story from the beginning. Probably also the reason why Big B is majorly pissed.

Although this new video looked very cool and was good to know about the astras, it looked unnatural and Ayan reading everything from a teleprompter. it just didnt connect. I am not denying that he and the entire team has right to promote and explain the concept to the audience before the movie releases but there is no consistency in their promotions at all 😕
