Ex sasural ya mayka ??

When u get divorced, does ur ex sasural become ur mayka ?? I think this is what Anupama is trying to show us.

Barka is so right. Why did anupama marry anuj if she still has feelings for vanraj ??

Anupama then says to barka that she won't tolerate any words against her "mayka" aka EX SASURAL.

Anupama Is also trying to show us that if a woman is divorced, her ex sasural becomes ur mayka and that you'll never be able to cut ties with them until u die.

And have u guys noticed in todays episode ?? When barka asked anupama, why did she marry anuj if she still has feelings for vanraj, anupama never answered the question. She just said that "it's it's good thing we are in a hospital otherwise I would've given a befitting reply !!"

Her Sasural becamr Mayka as she spend most of her life there, had life trauma and transitions with different roles there than her own Mayka. Remember after marriage she was hardly given permission to go her mayka by Baa or V.

She is over ex hubby long time ago, the first step was his betrayal n final was when he let her go, that helped her let him go. She showed it again n again, her corner for him is as a father as he plays that bechara card royally.

and if she was that tormented by her ex sasural wasis and not given permission to go to her mayka, she still has managed to keep strong feelings for them?

I can't bold the second paragraph. Yes, Shah family were classic abusers with narcissistic personality n lack of accountability. Anu stood in her own way of being abused or even now 50% reason for getting abused. I'll not deny that.

I appreciate your take and I still think that she is over Ex, a long time ago, even subconsciously or consciously he is not in her mind or world. Again even with her inconsistent ckt this is wat I feel. Also of they have never showed initial hospital scene of Anuj, where V freed here, I would agree she is still holding on to V, but she needed that closer to move on and V gave her , she needed to hear and when she held his hand as he was walking away he gently freed himself, that was the last line of her hold on him. This is why I feel it is not the case.

her mother, brother and nephew are alive. why does she need the 'maayka' of shahs?
