No. Seems it is a very old show.
yes its released in 2003 😆 but the story was sort of interesting where hero looses her first love and he calls her using planchit and she promises to come back on some day for him. But he is unable to find her that day and he gets dissappointed but later in that house a couple arrives where heroine is born again. But after some years hero falls in love with his best friend and they get married. This irks the heroine and she turns evil. 😆 sort of messed up story but was interesting there are chances that pi will turn evil if he marries pavithra if she is waiting for him from long time 😆
Yeah toaday's episode is an example of what is needed to watch an Indian SN show... willing suspension of disbelief😆
Still can't hold back the question couldn't this have been presented better? Like a couple of years older child, someone else other than dadu telling about how the accident happened or else presented in such a way that he is quoting an eye witness rather than giving the feel that he too was in that car!! Even the child's miraculous save!! Yes one can accept that the child is supposed to be powerful and blessed coz of the blessed mark and her grandpa knew that. A little bit of working of brain and this part of the track would have worked out better!!!
Anyways ITV script writers just take the viewers for granted more so with SN shows.
You mentioned Charulatha, is it the Keerthi Suresh one? Or the original version which was in another language (tamil?) if I am not wrong. Didn't like that movie much.

It was the time I born. Not even I think so as I born in the end of the year.
I read the story in Wikipedia and it is literally awesome and see Naagin 6 story... Just Bakwas... Yes, for TV, the makers could have messed up a little but the story is very good with supernatural elements. It literally takes guts to show heroine in such grey or evil light. Hero's character is also very good. And the fiance character is our beloved Urvashi but she was killed by the heroine😭.
By the way, it is Aruna Irani's show. She is the one who produced the original Naagin through which Ekta got inspired to make Naagin. I hope you might be aware of Sayantani Ghosh's Naagin.

B - Tamil Version is Charulatha where Priyamani is the lead. Keerthy Suresh's one is Geethanjali (Malayalam). Both are the remake of Thai film though Geethanjali is promoted as Manichitrathazhu's spinoff.

Now I remember a bit more... I think I watched both.. Tamil one was presented as ghost story, right? While they turned Mal one into another psychological one with Mohanlal reapeting his Dr. Sunny.

seriously or pandit could have called and told that dadji the incident but rather they just potrayed as if dadaji was inside the car. Or he could have just told her by words saying that kaha jaatha hai ki iss accident ki zimmedar pishachini thi as if he was not so sure what happend inside that car. And best part pavithra got a mark like harry potter. I guess they are inspired from harry where harry gets to know the story from professor dumbledore but they forgot dumbledore was a magician he can see past present and future where as our dadaji is not. 🤣

yeah i have wathched that too. When i compare current itv supernatural shows with 90's and 2000's i feel depressed those were the days we had so many good shows. Now all shows turned into saas bahu aur sazish. I was very small when i watched these shows as i used to watch it with my sister. But comparitively they were better.

Even though the cgi was not developed they tried their best to deliver best content. I still watch so many shows i wish itv improved their story a bit. Even though sas bahu shows are improved and better than earlier shows but sn show has been reduced. Even if we have some most of them are from ekta where saas is the villain 😵 or if we have some from other production there would be some love triangle.
I feel all these itv producers should avoid including sas bahu drama twists in sn shows. Give us some scary villains instead of them 🤣
