Saif as Langda Tyagi in Omakara

Do you think this is one of the best performances by a Bollywood actor?

I think so.

In the last 20 years, I think it's the best performance of all. He deserved a National Award for this, not Hum Tum.

He was brilliant, absolutely brilliant, in the movie. So menacing, so evil, and that accent was pitch-perfect.

Don't tell me Saif didn't got best villain award that year for Omkara

If not him who got that?

Ps: Not sure was it the best performance us last 20 years, but one of the raw and exceptional one for sure. His menacing eyes played a great role, also different demeanour and body language was apt.

He got the Filmfare award but he also deserved the National Award that year (for 2006)

He won best villain for filmfare. Then they stopped the comedy/villain awards

It was a great performance but I think he was even better in Ek Hasina Thi. We've not seen a suave, badass villain like Karan Rathod ever since 😈.

Saif was so good in that phase between Dil Chahta Hai and Omkara though. Rangan Sir summed it up best in his EHT review when he said "Maybe it’s the vibes from playing off costar Saif Ali Khan, who’s in such a golden phase of his career that he could do nothing more than sit on the pot, reading the proverbial phone book, and still walk away with a movie." 👏

Saif is super underrated both as an actor as well as a looker. He was fab in Ek hasina thi as the villain & slayed in Hun Tum with his comic timing. It’s crazy he never became that big a star. Weird

I’ve loved Saif in most of his roles. He always delivers. Brilliant, underrated actor.

Saif is a superb actor. I have enjoyed every role he played thus far but I will rate his act in EHT a cut above the rest. His LT comes third in my list after Sameer of DCH- the guy who kept the movie together for me.

I'm with everyone's take on Saif here, esp. in Ek Hasina Thi. I'm a huge fan of thrillers of that nature and loved every bit of that movie, and never have I felt as cathartic as I did when he gets his just desserts at the end. Dark but well deserved. 👏 Both Saif and Urmila were exceptional in it!
