Going back to the days the prem disha promo got leaked on April 17 (2days before Purandas PF) and the fandom eagerly waiting for the promo since then, it was literally unexpected & shocking when the pregnancy promo came on May 10th. Also, it is around this same time (mid of April) that MV's exit happened and Atif was pulled out off Imlie by Gul to kickstart the shoot of her webshow. And all these can't be a coincidence at all. So my assumption is that, in between these 3weeks, someone purposely has played it dirty to sabotage the show and it can be anyone from the channel or PH's side, who had some ulterior motive. The way Surpita's marriage was rushed was the start of everything and since then we were literally running on low budget. Added to that the PH's sautela treatment to our show once Gul's webseries shoot started. Which is another hint that given an opportunity, someone playing behind wanted the show to go offair. It's only because of Atif & team that it got stretched till now. Anyway, there's no use in keeping on repeating our cribbing. So, I have decided to let go off everything and enjoy Arylie as long as it lasts.

Now coming to your next query, getting back a show on public demand with the same leads has happened with one show I have watched. That was on Sony TV. And it's S2 happened 1month after S1 ended because one of their show was called off due to some rule violations and this was what they could arrange in a short time. But it lasted only for 2months because of various reasons, of which the main reason was overusage of body doubles of leads. Moreover, it didn't have the charm as its first season, storywise. Which I think was purposely done by the channel & PH so that fans will stop their demands. Then 4yrs later, seeing that the pair fans were still not over them, the channel brought in a 3rd season with same leads last year, which didn't appeal me much because of its execution and the kind of story they tried to sell. So, I stopped watching in the first week itself. In short, from my experience, it's better to ask the channel to give us a proper & well executed ending for Arylie, instead of asking for repeating the Khan duo for the post leap part or another season. If not, Gul will spoil even the original Arylie so that their hype will die down forever.

I just wish we get a proper. Extension at least till december so that ASR gets bloody 1 year .. of his hard work.. later they can do whatever they want .

I won't blame Gul or any producer the new management is exercising it's might on all shows.

As long as Uday Shankar helmed SP many producers were free to do what they wanted.

Have a look at Yrkkh, they brought a doppelganger in the form of Sirat and destroyed fan sentiments. Very soon without any backstory Rajan Shahi brought a leap and signed two newcomers with a popular actor.

Now he is sabotaging in his own flagship.

In the same way SP has definitely placed unreasonable demands in front of Atif and co. Gul does not bother post 400 episodes. Her heart broke into pieces when Barun Sobti quit and she is still in denial mode.

Sindoor ki keemat is on dangal, a free channel where negotiates pay scales and budgets r low.

Ashiqana gets ads from Hindustan Lever. She first shortlisted many MHRW actors including the lead then signed Zayn instead of Sai.

The management is behaving in the same manner as NDTV Imagine.

No one should be blamed entirely.

But, I want it to do well. Firstly because this is the same director who had once faced the same situation from Gul as Atif has faced now and had to be brought back due to fans demand. So, she supporting him now is one way Gul once again bowing her head in front of him. Secondly because if what the producer says in her promotion is true, we will get to see a non-problematic ML, which is a rare occurrence in ITV. Thirdly because the FL is a newcomer in the Hindi GEC from the northeastern state, just like how it was with Sumbul coming from UP & establishing herself in Mumbai. Moreover, Mukta dhond is a single mother who as per my knowledge doesn't have a problematic past as a producer as EK & Gul; instead has a reputation of running good shows. Above all, if the show does well, probably Imlie's S2 plan will be scrapped by the channel and we may be spared from lots of disappointment. Because 2more shows are in the pipeline for SP - one EK show & one Ghum makers show, which can replace the 7pm slot. So, for all these reasons I want Rajjo to get a good opening. 😊

Ikr the first season was so good. Sonakshi is hands down one of my favourite itv female leads. She was so well written. Next would be Maya.

You mean to say since K Madhavan took charge things are not like before? But, I know about him since the time he was in charge of Star India's southern network. He didn't seem to be such a stiff person those days. Probably as he climbed the ladder, he had become one. But then, Gaurav Banerjee is still the Head of Content. Doesn't he have a say now?
