In 2022 even using that 'TRP aunties' tag looks redundant. Better to treat SB shows as short finite shows not getting too attached and enjoy till they air, simple.
Because TRP system has its own loopholes. In another thread in this forum I posted some details. Out of those 45-55k sample BARC households that give weekly TRP data, how many are actually paid subscribers of Star Bharat, we don't know. And out of those paid SB subscribers, how many are aware of new show BPKH airing at 9.30pm? and then how many of those will leave their habit of watching YRKKH on SP and/or KDB on Zee which are long running fiction shows to start and tune to new show like BPKH daily?š³ Right kind of promotions & marketing also matter. Lets not blame entire hindi fiction audiences, if a new show doesn't get some TRPs.
