I guess this issue for some actors is even if they act well, the movie can still be a flop due to script and the story being shit. That and the fact audience might not be interested even if movie is good.
Fact is keeping all that aside with the budget, if these actors want their survival and the industry to make it, they gotta get real. You better have like 8 hit movies before you consider increasing your fees so you have a consistent track record, here toh one movie they hike up as if they shit gold.
Maybe some actors like Ranbir charge a lot, because they literally set aside years to a movie but this shit ain't gonna work anymore.
