Nothing comparable to showing an "actor" dressed up as Lord Shiva acting like a buffoon in a toilet.
Since you aren't intolerant like the folks boycotting Laal Chaddi, I take it that you have no objections if Aamir comes up with a movie where an "actor" dressed up as "The one who shall not be named" is shown in similar fashion? 😉
Writer and director were not Muslims
Dont know about Lord Shiva much, if it hurts the sentiments then it should have not been in the movie and I can understand your emotions, but why a majority of hindus made PK such a blockbuster THAT time, why the uproar only now ?? 😕
The winking emoji at last of your post is not required.

No. People have right to boycott. If movie stars can promote and give money to critics to give out good reviews then people also have the right to boycott. Kareena herself said people not to watch their movies if they don’t want. She’s getting what she wanted people to do.

Dont know about Lord Shiva and his importance, if it hurt the sentiments than it should havge not been in the movie

And yet it was there despite being in extremely bad taste. Still the movie ended up being the HGOTY in 2014.
Now I ask you again, without any winking emoji, would you shell out your own money to watch a movie like that when "you know who" is depicted similarly? Or will you be like those intolerant bigots who boycotted PK and are now boycotting LSC?

who you are referring to with "you know who"
And if as u said the depiction of Lord Shiva was disrespectful, then once again why a majority of hindus made PK a blockbuster ?

The one who's mention leads to people being beheaded. Maybe you haven't been reading the news lately.
Do I take it that you'd be lining up to buy tickets for an Islamic PK with a similar depiction of "the one that shall not be named"?

Not aware of any such thing.
You still not answered my question
Your question is hypothetical...would be ..should be....what would be if so and so happens
My question to you was based on facts and things that took place
if lord shiva was depicted in an insulting way, why on earth majority of Hindus made PK a blockbuster?
and why there is an uproar only now ?
please answer my question.

please answer my question.
My question is also based on factual fatwas and beheadings that happen in real life. I shudder to think what these folks would do if Aamir made an Islamic PK with equivalent scenes in the toilet featuring you know who.
Seems you wouldn't exactly be lining up to buy tickets for such a film either. Seems quite intolerant. Tch tch.

Than ask the religious scholars, I am not here to give fatwaas or examine them, not that qualified for that.
But for sure needs your answer for a simple logical question that WHY majority of Hindus made PK a huge blockbuster if lord Shiva was actually insulted & disrespected.
Second part of my question is that, why the uproar only now about that specially after a gap of 8 years ?
Please answer my question.

then why so much shor sharaaba from aam junta on various social media to boycott the film
Do you really think handful of twitter people have the capacity to decide the fate of a movie? Sometimes we say these Boycott gangs are of no use and now all of a sudden they're so powerful? Why don't we agree for once the product is mediocre to worst?

I am not here to speak on behalf of all Hindus. Please feel free to do a survey on your own. I can only speak for myself as someone who saw PK and found that scene in bad taste.
Can you speak for yourself and let us know if you will watch a similar film in theaters if the shoe was on the other foot? Or not qualified for that either?
