Woah dude this is possibly one of the most sane reviews i have seen on KTK in a long time. I think they got everything spot on. And i absolutely loved the way it started, just like it should, about Danny's performance đâ¤ď¸ But yes, these guys understood the assignment, thats the bottom line. I think someone should tag other pseudo intellectuals like SH and Fuchsia here

In this entire show, there are two things that are praise-worthy. The first is Danish Taimoorâs performance. He is intense, passionate and absolutely insane and that shines through with his performance. He does not break character even once and even when heâs mourning Mehakâs death, you can see that this feels like a personal loss to him, a personal failure. He was unable to âgetâ Mehak when he wanted her â and now that sheâs alive, itâs back to square one. Itâs genuinely a brilliant performance. The second thing thatâs commendable is that the narrative hasnât, even once, allowed us to sympathize for Shamsher. Shamsher is bad. This is shown even in his interactions with his Bhabiâs sister. He is heartless, even when heartbroken. This is a solid story on harassment, stalking and the abuse of power.
Its not the audience's fault that Danish is so bloody good in every role! There's a reason why we fall for all his characters. If makers did not want us to sympathise with Shamsher they should have gotten a better actress.
For example in Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai, not once do you support Jaan-e-Alam. We all are on Mariam's team. But there too...Danish was so bloody good that when Alam kills himself you do get mixed feelings.
