Aryan is self sufficient to save himself or so I believe. We are not fans of someone who need a girl to save his ass from the terrorist par fir bhi ehsaan farmoshon ki tarah character assassination karne par thuli hai.

Bold1 - Definitely. It's not Imlie's responsibility to save him. In a real world, she should have kicked his sorry butt and moved on with her life. But that's not what makes for an epic, angsty ITV lovestory. We have been told over and over that these two are soulmates who can't function without each other. These two are a version of Shiv-Shakti who can only reach their full potential when the other is present with them.

He has been going around PD, helping her, annoying her, challenging her and then saving her. He had no business poking his head in her matters but that's we saw happening and I, for one loved it. So I feel like it will be her turn soon. He will go back to Delhi, probably with a heart that's even more broken and she will follow him there soon. I think she will only go there to bring back Cheeni who hitched a ride with her Heroji but will end up staying to save her man. She won't be able to help herself. Just like Aryan wasn't able to help himself.

And that's itv problem. They're restricted to show real progress by the medium and it's viewers (re: trp audience) hence resort to these storylines.

Right now also she's "saving" cheeni from Malini, so nothing has changed in effect.

Circle back to wedding episode, when Aryan had one on one with himself before 7th phera where he justified her stupid saviour syndrome himself and let her go. "Because wo aisi hi hai". Flashback chopstick episode "jisne bhi tumhe kuchh naya seekhne se roka wo sab idiots hai". And he's successfully joined the idiots group now.

Now it's just him wishing that for himself rather than the whole world.

I still love him. This is not an Aryan bashing post.

I think he expected better from Imlie at least professionally. Remember he said "wo itne chhote se gaon ke freelancing kyun karegi?"
