Some day maybe after Habs gets ovr , i might go backwards watching him… He is a brilliant actor n to watch him after Gul E Rana is really impressive, knowing how refined n polished his acting skills are now!! No wonder he has a massive fan following in a short span of time!!

The thing about Adeel's character in Gul-e-Rana was that while he is toxic, the show really plays up his toxicity as it is and does not romanticise it. It is a different matter altogether that we find Feroze Khan as that jerk Adeel very hot but at the end of it, he does not get the girl. He alone is responsible for destroying his marriage. In Khaani toh he reminded me of a shark and a snake in the early episodes. I did watch parts of Dil Kya Karey. His character there is very suljha hua as they say. And there he does find his love at the end.

But Basit toh has taken Feroze's acting to a different level. The subtlety we see in his acting here is I think in a big part owing to the director's vision of what he wanted from his actors. Truly Habs is a gem.

The Gul-e-Rana episodes that are being uploaded by Hum Tv on youtube don't even have the background score and still the scenes are so impactful. The acting was really great for all of these relatively new actors at the time.

Also 24 hours left for our show airing.

No episode this week due to 10th Muharram.

@Madhuilove Hey girl, I can understand your frustration. The channel does not understand our impatience. In fact they hope that by making us wait, the response will be even more enthusiastic once the show does air.

Whatever it may be, I hope you will continue watching the show as it airs and join in our fangirling. When the show makes us wait, it is these conversations here that keep us going. ❤️

That show is a mixed bag. Feroze and Sajal are excellent actors and they really did a wonderful job. The show resists all attempts to give Adeel's character a redemption arc. There is good in that and the end leaves you quite satisfied. But even for that show you have to wait as the channel is uploading the episodes slowly. Also Gul e Rana's character says stuff in places which I feel is quite dated and borders on victim shaming. Would have loved her character more had the makers not done that to her. You can watch Dil Kya Karey if you want to see Feroze as a nice guy who puts the girls wishes above his own.

I have seen 6 epis and I am liking it so far. I have no choice when it comes to what everyone calls obsessive etc but the story and execution must be good.

So far I like Rana (sajal) but I can't believe she didn't refuse to marry zafri coz it may be her mother or Taya abbas wish..zafri?🤢Zafri of all people ..obviously it cant be adeel too , but the strong woman that they claim themselves to be , they can at least voice that much ..Taya Abba cud have asked herto marry adeel then what ? . I guess adeel will have a downward spin now after Rana slaps him . (Guess its OK to digress at times specially when we have anlther week of no habs)

I'll watch khani or ishquia anyday over all of these. Haan but ek baar I will watch Gul e Rana.

Gve it a try to Gul E Rana as choices r subjective… i watched tis wen it was first aired on HumTv n was taken away by fresh chemistry of Sajal n Feroz… the scenic view, location n catchy promos… Yes it has forced marraige concept but then it has proper n positive message towards the end… For me personally as i stated above, i can take things to an xtent 😎 but thn this kind of fiction is not my cup of tea… 🥱

Since I watched Habs on you tube after that Gul e Rana started combing on my feeder as a recommendation 😆
