It would be illogical if he was indeed manipulated by Didi. He knows how much she hates Imlie and what she is capable of. So let's see, if the writers keep holding onto logic or if they abandon it for some drama.

Have you seen naamkaran ? There the ML arrests the FL (he's an ACP) to save her. The negative lead blackmails him to doing it..it was either she goes to jail for a false claim or dies. ML was forced to be rude and send to her jail.

They are repeating the same thing here. The FL is not aware why the ML would think she murdered anyone. Obviously she is hurt and there is a 6 month leap where she comes to hate the ML.

If you notice they are following the exact pattern. Obviously leap nahi aayega but the plot is same.

Let's wait till tomorrow before forming any conclusions.
