Underline: that was a big mystery that did he believe Imlie all along and he sent her to jail to protect her OR did he actually fell for Malini's bullshit and later when cheeni reminded him of the ladoo did his brain started to work.

If it's the first case, then Aryan is a big gadha and I think I future also he can fall for Malini's crap

I think Aryan didn't actually believe Malini and got Imlie arrested... He actually wanted to save her from angry mob plus buying some time for himself to collect some proof.. The way he clenched his fist actually shows that whatever malini was saying he didn't like it

The Aryan Cheeni scene could mean that he actually believed that Imlie is innocent but through Cheeni's help he got reminded that HE is actually the proof or saboot that could bail her out..

They should have given some monologue to Aryan to convey his thoughts clearly or may be they want to keep it as suspense n show Aryan as villain and will clear things later on

P.S: Villain se i didn't mean like actual villain but starting days Aryan when people weren't really sure about his intentions
