I doubt PS 1 is competing with VV. VV is for Bollywood audiences. Why would south want the same movie with Hindi actors? PS1 is more for the south. Doubtful a Mani Ratnam movie is going to be much of a draw up north these times.

No I meant PS1 is also releasing in north, and I think they want to capture the Hindi market as well.. VV releasing might dampen the plans a bit. Might not affect VV much though because it's a direct Hindi release, but will affect PS1.
Also, PS1 doesn't have the buzz yet in Hindi market, but considering we're still 2 months from release, if they are able to create a lot of buzz then VV may also be in trouble.

I would rather watch PS1. Though MR doesn’t carry the same vibe anymore, I still trust him more than this wannabe Vikram Vedha. And I bet there are many more like me.
