that actor was an UPCOMING one at the time of Darr and even at the time of KKHH making with just one hit in a non anti hero movie Ddlj....so those production houses certainly did not needed him as such as he was a rising actor not a well established one.

Also as its on the record fact YRF's darr and DDLJ were ORIGINALLY offered to Salman and Saif respectively.
