Isn’t Akash Ambani friends with Ranbir? Is this the direction this is going?

If I was an actor right now, I'd be wary of signing any film that has such huge budgets

In all seriousness "ganga Maiyya, itna paisa!😲"

If they take the young superstar, the budget will swell to 275 crores just for his salary alone😆

Ronnie Screwala wouldn't have backed out if the project was going haywire, not the initial vision.

That team has given Uri, was hoping this one to be much bigger one. 200+ budget is nothing in today's time. Uri made 250+ cr, why they doubting Vicky. Director-Actor combo we have seen earlier, give them a chance, it can do wonders.

Agar paiso me aag lagana ka shauk chara hee hai to Hrithik ya Siddharth ko hee le lo😆

Hum aankhein hee senk lenge 🤣

On a serious note only Hrithik can do justice acting wise...mota bhai is right Vicky is overrated.

Only content can carry this big a budget

No Bollywood fan knew Yash before KGF or Prabhas before Bahubali. Actor doesn't matter - director and content does

And honestly they have a better chance with Vicky than they do with any of the nepo brigade. He will have the audience support and can be propped up as the anti nepo poster child alongside Kartik Aaryan. Oh god, I hope the uh dont replace him with Kartik

Jio Studios does not want Vicky Kaushal in 'The Immortal Ashwatthama': ReportBy - ETimes.in

ETimes had exclusively reported how Aditya Dhar's dream project 'The Immortal Ashwatthama', starring Vicky Kaushal, got a second life with Jio Studios stepping in after the original producer Ronnie Screwwala backed out. Jio Studios is pumping money to revive the project and had not lowered the humongous budget either, but looks like things are not going as planned.

According to a news portal, the producer and director have had a massive disagreement over the film’s cast. While Aditya is sticking to Vicky Kaushal as the lead, Jio Studios is reportedly not confident that the cast will be able to rake in profits over the huge budget. The makers apparently are content with having Samantha as the leading lady but feel that investing Rs 225 crore on a Vicky Kaushal starrer is a risky plan, reports BollywoodHungama. Since Vicky was associated with ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ since the beginning, he has already invested a lot of time prepping for the part. It remains to be seen if Aditya will stick to his ‘Uri’ actor or bend to the wishes of his producers. The team will reportedly take the final call over the film’s fate in a month’s time.

After delivering a blockbuster like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, Vicky Kaushal and Aditya Dhar were all pepped about ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’. The film’s first look poster was unveiled on the second anniversary of ‘Uri’. Sharing the same on Instagram on January 11, 2021, Vicky had penned, “Another one!!! On the 2nd anniversary of URI-The Surgical Strike, the team gives you a glimpse into the world of #TheImmortalAshwatthama. Cannot wait to get onto this journey with the dream team of @adityadharfilms #RonnieScrewvala @rsvpmovies @soniyeah22."

thank you for the inside info ranbir
