Is Ranbir trying to copy Ranveer's style in Shamshera?

I saw some promos and songs of the movie Shamshera. I feel like Ranbir is trying to copy Ranveer's rough and unpolished rural boy style. Ranbir is generally a polished city boy in most movies.

No, Ranbir has now decided that he wants to be Salman. He wants his stardom, he had his girlfriend (whom he’s still obsessed with), he wants his fans, he wants his bulky body, and he wants his « basic » acting skills too. Ranbir doesn’t want to be naked on a carpet nor date Deepika.
