Not sure Jiggy if the image upload feature supports gifs. Need to check. The gifs in the example threads are hosted on other sites giphy/blogspot etc...

Jiggy Gifs are not supported for direct upload yet.

But i see on google that there are ways to save animated gifs as pngs... maybe you can try that and see if upload works.
