Sadly Indian movie songs aren't good nowadays. I am a big fan of Indian movie songs even those very old ones. India gave the world the best music and voices. It is sad to see young musicians do nothing but recreating the old songs 😒

Lyrics wise, i feel KTK's ost could apply to Ishq hai also. For whatever Shamsher did with Isra in the start. And in fact even for shaq track. What do you think?

For the drop in quality you gotta blame T-Series and other MNCs.

Uptill the 90s there was no interference, hence the songs are evergreen. 2000s and 2010s gave us good songs too, but by then the world had become very fickle and shelf life had reduced.

The only Hindi songs I listen to now are the ones Himesh Reshammiya releases on his label. And he gets really good singers on board, like Indian Idol contestants.

Yes. HR is still trying to give original music. I love Pritam as well. He is the only copy music directer who makes good remakes. ❤️
