There was a time when intimate scenes , exposing etc was rare in Indian movies too. But now they don't shy away with the kissing scenes also . Shift in culture perhaps. We try to ape the west more than what's required . My body my right my wish... I believe it's ok , it's ok it's somebody's body and their right ..but if they are doing it just to "sell" something then no ..if it's a projection of art , yeah to an extent it's ok . They really have gone overboard with all this ..I hardly watch Indian web shows and 99% of the movies as I look for more substance than anything else.

Won't go into the morality of it or the religious part as it's personal . But paki serials also go a little overboard with the restrictions . What sajal did in ishq e la was not at all intimate. Normal holding hands or showing affection to the husband is just fine . If not then thy must not make shows at all..showing bitchy females is ok, abusing , thrashing the wife is ok, all forms of torture on women is ok , plotting planning vamps are ok, women trying to snatch somebody's husband is ok, abuse on men is ok, but when it comes to showing basic human emotions like love , it's a sin?

I agree that intimacy / chemistry can be implied and I love it , and in many shows ,like yks , zgh, himsafar etc , they did a really good job with the chemistry without showing anything explicit , at the same time it's just fine with what they showed in ishq e la. If a married woman should stand 5 ft away from other men, they must not be allowed to step out ..is there a similar rule for men?

Coming to ahad , well, it's his personal choice

..he isn't doing p stuff . We also have the option of not watching it .In Shows / movies / theater produced in the west, it's normal. BTW do they get Netflix in paki? I heard aamna and Hasan talking abt Netflix shows..if ppl can watch these shows in paki, what's the issue with this one ? Matlab koi aur actor hona chahiye apne wale nai? 🤔 cmon yaar .

The show is called resident evil and it’s on Netflix, why is everyone so shocked, was he supposed to say astaghfirullah? I’m sure he knew what he was getting into, if it doesn’t bother him or his family, why are some losing sleep over it?

ThiS is not that important issue to waste your energy in it.

Many other Pak actors did bold scenes previously in BW and HW. If we talk about religion yes it is wrong. We should not normalize it.

But the point is everyone is answerable to their deeds. They know what are they doing. So we should not name or shame them. Unka hisaab unhoney khudi dena hai. We should think about ourself. We can stay away from sin by not watching such scenes. Yes We can dislike that actor but don't curse them or abuse them. As i never liked Ahad that's why I m not shocked.

Same here.😃 And from the clip you posted I don't even find him romantic.. those blank expressions are meh.😵

Indian movies used to be bold esp art films that have a targeted audience. It's only in the 90s and early 2000s indian films became reserved. Even srk was fine with doing nude scenes in movies if it required and stopped it after receiving backlash from the public for an art film he did.

Also dressing bold is part of Indian culture. Look at the art works at temples that are more than 100yrs old. The concept of blouse came after the British and in a lot of Indian cultures women used to wear sarees and traditional clothes without a blouse. It's the British that sexualized indian traditional clothing and women's body and deemed it inappropriate because it was against their culture and religion.

Saying the west influenced our culture and made it bold is an irony considering we have sex temples that are centuries old and wrote Kamasutra.

You just made my day 🤗

I like eating the food which others cook. I can even eat the worst cooked food. I am only critical about my own cooking . Alhamdulillah.. I am good at baking.

But that was in history. I watched many old Indian movies.. not much art ones.. so I can confirm they weren't bold. It is only now that they are doing it, not because they returned to their roots, but because they are imitating west. And of course to attract viewers , coz it sells.🤔
