So my friend @Enlightened21 recommended that I create this post of mine as an analysis of Imlie as a new topic since it draws out Imlie as a character which people sometimes fail to connect with so here I am with some points about Imlie which I have noticed:
1. Imlie, the infatuated teen: Imlie will never love Aryan the way she was in love with AKT (i can already see the flying chappals par baat suno pahle) that's bcz what she had for AKT was infatuation it is clear as hell, i have just seen her love for AKT during the period when Aryan has entered the show but the way she kept running back to him it was NOT bcz of her love for him but bcz of her hopes to still save her broken marriage/relationship. Basically, she was in love with the idea of still being able to remain married and not have a broken relationship/divorce reason? Her background as a village belle. The woman/ girls of any village believe in the idea of remaining married when they are the constant victims to domestic abuse/verbal abuse and what not. You see when she is standing at the Tripathi's threshold and giving that Sorry Imlie speech she still hasn't gotten the courage to take out the divorce papers, sign them and throw them on his face despite half herself screaming to her to do the same. It is Aryan who grabs the papers from her bag and shoves them in her hand bcz he can see clearly what's going on with her.
2. Imlie & her affection towards Tripathis: When she went to pagdandiya to save AKT there she is hanging by the last straw of love or infatuation that she had for AKT. But as soon as the new AKT comes into picture and spews his hate on her there she is so pissed with him and finally decides to move on. Then comes her phase of obsession for Tripathis and it has nothing to do with AKT she was so devoted to the Tripathis bcz go and watch the starting episodes of Imlie when she arrives with AKT to the Tripathis, AKT was a jerk to her then but the Tripathis treated her like their own child. And when she walks out on AKT (episodes when Aryan goes to her hostel to give her medicine forced by Arpita) you will actually witness how much the Tripathis adored Imlie. The Tripathis were themselves having false hopes that Adi.lie will reunite and Imlie who is the perfect daughter and Bahu will come back to them not realising as well as realising their son doesn't deserve her until Aryan stepped in with the marriage deal.
3.Imlie, the second chances to love: Imlie is falling for Aryan the entire Adini wedding track let's run down the memory lane: when he appears as Raj and dances with her it was not friendship she was falling for him then minutely though, when he stops AC from slapping her go and look at her face from those episodes that's how a girl will look falling in true love, when he motivated her during her breakdown (the rain scene) look at the way she is looking at him her entire undivided attention is on Aryan, the Babysaheb's tantrum for getting clicked with Malini for their pg3 wedding story u see her breaking down, running away from the heartbreak but the moment she comes face to face with Aryan remembers his motivating words draws strength from him, why would a girl draw strength from someone who means nothing to her.
4.Imlie, in love: Imlie is again seen falling for Aryan in the hut scene from PD, look at her face when Aryan punches the villager stepping infront of her it screams how much she admires him now, this girl despite being injured, tired went into a Dhaba's kitchen just to cook for Aryan bcz he was throwing a tantrum for hygeine, u think any girl would give a damn about a grownup guy throwing tantrum until she is not having feelings for him? The most important of all she went and did tandav infront of god look at the determination on her face than it's like she was challenging the gods to return what was hers back to her and for the 1st time she was not begging.
5. Imlie, the lover: Arylie fans will never be able to understand Imlie's love for Aryan bcz hum log toh khud hi Aryan ke wajah se show mein aaye hai we have never connected to Imlie as a character, it's all about Aryan for us most of the time, what he says, what he thinks, how he loves, who he loves, why he loves Imlie. But if we connect to Imlie as a character we will realise what she feels for Aryan, he literally runs into her like blood. In Jo track, she says to Aryan humka maloom hai tum dono ek hi ho, humko samaj nhi aawat hai kaha tum shuru and kaha cheeku khatam, clear indication of how deep seated Aryan is in Imlie. So, keeping our irritation for Imlie aside from this track try seeing her as a character, we will be able to see what Aryan means to Imlie. The difference we are able to see in their love is bcz of their personalities Aryan whatever he does, does passionately and he is possessive of Imlie as well but Imlie is not that much possessive/expressive in her love bcz she is completely surrendered to him her definition of love is not You are mine but it is I am all yours instead and that's the difference when u are the 1st case of love here u develop jealousy, insecurity of loosing ur lover but with the 2nd case of love ur a secure lover bcz u think u have already given ur all.
6. Imlie from Pagdandiya as Cheeku ki Amma: i was myself confused with her behaviour until I happened to listen to a conversation of my grandmother of how pregnancy was back in those days. Pregnancy is not a sickness especially when the lady being pregnant is completely healthy with the baby and the most interesting thing do we know why Imlie has been behaving like the way she is after she is pregnant I mean not being cautious enough etc. etc because she belongs to a tribal village. Pagdandiya is a tribal village, the 3 dots on her chin is actually a sign tribal women use and Pregnancy for them used to be like a daily routine, these women being pregnant used to do farming, cleaning their house, mopping the floor, washing utensils, washing clothes all the hard labor work can u imagine that? On top of that all these women will be seen mother of 5-6 kids. Shocked right? But this is a fact. Imlie has been raised in an environment like that for her pregnancy is not a stage where she needs to lie down and rest.
7. Imlie, the Jungli: that's bcz Imlie herself has been raised like that by satyakaam
do u expect her to do anything different from that 
Satyakaam taught her how to fight, can u believe that? To a village girl
when all girls of her age at her village do is go fill water pots with their mothers and swing on sawan ke jhule. Imlie has been raised as a rebel since she was a child, the girl knows to drive a tractor, fire a gun and every utpatang thing u can think of in the world she does that as an expert. Sumbul confessed to the same at RWSP ep Imlie kuch bhi karti hai, she climbs on a tree, jumps from tops like every jungli pana she does but that Ghonchu we all are so in love with
I mean Aryan loves her for exactly that
