Loud or otherwise, every character in KD was well defined. Emon gradually matured but the trajectory from a pampered girl to a woman was well defined. Same with RK, the best, she did a damn good job of the obsessive compulsive character. Never demeaned herself. Rono was also true to his character thru out. Even though some tracks were ok it was good watching KD. But here every character is muddled. And also the CDs have made these characters cringe worthy. I think the blame lies on both the actors and the writers. The actress playing the role of RK has come out the worst. Her character was the best but has totally ruined it for lack of acting skills. For me she looks more lusty than a matured woman with a behaviorial disorder. Sai character ofcourse has no scope here. She is always abused and degraded. And it is demeaning for every self respecting woman to see her professing love to her good for nothing husband without a word of apology or remorse for his actions. Very early into the show, I stopped liking the actor essaying Virat. As far as I am concerned he is very mediocre. This character was too huge for him to essay. Mediocre acting and mediocre writing ruined this otherwise a beautiful show.
I had stopped watching this show a long time ago, just before the Shruthi track. Just came across all the hullabulla of the current track and came to this forum.
A kind advice, for our own mental peace just stop watching this crappy show.
