Not as good as her supporters claim. She seems good because the audience isn't used to any better.

I do think she's been forced upon the audience but at the same time she's worked better at her craft and was more sincere than her contemporaries.

But yes, even in terms of opportunities she got the creme de la creme and got to choose scripts that were curated to showcase her talent.

She's certainly more versatile than the likes of Jhanvi, Kiara, Sara, Ananya etc,. And I think the fact that she debuted 10 years ago when Bollywood was in a better position industry wise also helps, unlike the present when it's facing a bit of decline, both hits wise and scripts wise.

I'd also like to think that the Covid pandemic virtually brought a standstill to the film industry for almost one to two years which must have certainly impacted the momentum of other budding actresses who were just starting out- clearing out the competition for her. Of the present lot only Kiara has been able to make a similar sort of record with consistent hits but she doesn't have Alia's drive.

I think I was really skeptical about her talent earlier but that has changed into a grudging sort of admiration especially since Gangubai. I respect her determination and her ability to hustle. But at the same time I do believe that everything was sort of laid out on a golden platter for her since the beginning of her career.

Yes, although I will give her credit. She's one of the few who actually loves being an actor, loves being on set, and actually cares about the nuances of film-making. She prioritizes her acting in movies first, and then the secondary gains after (ads, photoshoots, events etc). That's what probably endeared KJo to her early on back in the day

That said, Kareena, Katrina, and Deepika are still around despite a new "number 1". That alone says a lot

Yep and she still is. Hardly there is any movie of her’s i liked her acting in but I wonder if she was an outsider would she have gotten all this big big roles? She got most of the thing on silver platter.
