Why I want Malini to be given a second chance?

I am one of those who always wished for Malini's comeback and keeping aside my soft corner for Mayuri, I wanted her back because she too was a victim just like Imlie and I wanted to give her a second chance. The way she used to take a stand for Imlie in the initial episodes and took the initiative to get Imlie admitted to the college, depicts that basically she is soft at the core of her heart. It's because of the way she got cheated by her long time friend cum lover, in which even her sister had a part, plus the way her mother manipulated her to shove off the bitterness she had towards Dev, Meethi & Imlie, is the biggest reason Malini turned negative. Plus, Imlie is also a reason why Aditya throwed her out of his life. So, since Imlie too knowingly or unknowingly had a hand in her life getting destroyed, Imlie's story will not be complete until Malini is served justice, of course after she regrets for all the evil things she did to Imlie. And I am hopeful that the Imlie who believes that 'Pyar paramatma tak pahunchne ki pehli seedi hain' will surely fulfill the responsibility she has as a sister to Malini and bring her out of the darkness she is surrounded now.

Now, coming to the above trailer posted by Muskan yesterday, the BGM has done something to my heart. A mix of melancholic & psychic notes, the BGM is really haunting and I am feeling more restless thinking about Malini's current state. If she has lost her baby and she is going to be accompanied with this BGM, I feel like the TRP audience is going to fall for Malini and sympathise with her, atleast in the initial episodes. If that's how the makers are planning to take the track forward, then it's going to be a tough journey for Arylie and us Arylieans as well. Everything is going to be very intense with the trio taking us on another rollercoaster journey with their 💥 performances.

Are you ready my fellow Arylieians?😭

Always ready for high voltage drama. I'd love to see some real dilemma, where i can't pick sides.

Same with me, i always had soft corner for malini in the initial part even later when she turned grey (except her criminal activities)

Now it's obvious she's coming in for revenge. In a way her justice is served, the person she did everything for left her. Though she didn't deserve to lose the baby (if she lost it). Let's see how it unfolds.

I always had a soft corner for Malini. She was the true victim in Imlie 1.0

But obviously the leads can't be wrong so they had to make someone the scapegoat so it was Malini. Apart from her criminal activities she has a big scope of getting redemption and may be finding her own Aryan

a truly sympathetic villain requires good writing as well as acting to pull off. basically there is a road in between good and evil where things are rather grey. those type of villains should make your heart pang a little at the unfairness of the circumstances dished out to them and you should be able to understand why they are making the choices they are making. the story will then make viewers debate about various issues and sides....

however, given the weirdness of kairi and all the jo baba track, it was instead full on comedy because it was so ridiculously illogical. so much so that I was skipping out on imlie for a good few weeks and just occasionally peeking in. am I confident that the CVs can do justice to malini's return? we can only hope. lets see if they stop writing nonsense and write proper arcs that have some sense to them.

@bold: Love the way you put it. It's the grey that matters always. A good narration will ensure high voltage of drama and constantly have us debate between if the good are really good and if the bad are completely bad and then we see the in-between!

If Imlie makers can successfully pull this off, we viewers will have a wonderful rollercoaster ride of emotions ahead. Fingers crossed!

I would totally love to see Malini be given a second chance.

Some of her actions can never be justified but we've seen wonderful whitewashing that happens here and if that can be done, why not Malini?!

She's lost her husband, she's lost her family, she's emotionally distanced from her father and now is if she has lost the baby as well, there is nothing more that will lead a woman to go to extreme lengths in despair and feeling of injustice.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!

Having said that, doesn't she deserve the love and happiness that she was always looking for?! Love and family is all that Malini always wanted since it's something that she sorely lacked while growing up. As a woman who's lost it all because of others, she still deserves to get her share of happiness in her life

I can never hate malini . She and Imlie both suffered just bcz a man didn't have courage to face truth and stand by it. For me Imlie and Malini are both sides of a coin. Both craved family, both craved love. But I can also not forgive her for the crimes she commited.

She deserved her own Aryan as much as Imlie.

But despite that everything happened she didn't deserve to loose her baby ( as per hospital bts)

Imlie writers are actually capable to write good realistic drama.

But I do want malini to have her own journey, her own redemption. Where she accepts all her mistakes. I want both sisters to come to terms with their relation.

Tbh, I don't think trp audience ever hated malini ever after everything she did. And this track will indeed be a rollercooster.

Malini always had and will always have audience's sympathy.

This is what makes it more interesting.

Who will we side with?

I started late in Imlieland but whenever I watched Malini though prior her exit she did attempt to murder somehow I didn't feel the disgust I should feel for a her. Should I really call her a negative character? She is indeed a made negative because of the circumstances. Not justifying somebody trying to kill of someone but someone who is been put up with so much indeed can loose mind and having a mother with evil mind doesn't help either.

I until now can really not pinpoint why I couldn't hate Malini. Is it because Mayuri played the character and I have seen Mayuri's marathi drama and liked her then or because of her personal loss that I sympathize with her or the character Malini gains my sympathy I just don't know but yes I just wish as Mayuri said if the things panned out at as it should then we are in for a treat. I also want second chance for Malini after understanding how, why, when, where and what in her life went wrong. She should understand this perfectly before that second chance. I just hope her baby survives though. She would be left with nothing if not the baby . I just wish the way makers had shown her journey from good to grey to evil they reverse it back taking it slow but steadily. That process must be convincing. Malini too has a right to move on for better.

@ bold: I think she had a MC . There was a BTS of anu and malini at hospital. In that bts she was still wearing mangalsutra.😔

Oh that would be very sad. More reason for her to turn against Imlie and Aryan. 😒 I just hope Malini's character has a chance of redemption someday
