Men in my opinion aren’t all bad and there are some amazing ones out there who knows how to balance wife and mother. Only in the show they go this extreme. No sane normal girl will put up with it and I wonder why can’t we have a moderate lead? Not that great but not this bad either - just a normal guy who thinks and isn’t scared to think his mother could be wrong? They either hate their mother or they bloody are attached to her cord.

Arsh from udaari is the only normal one in pak dramas. 😆

In this case itv makers are far better. When they reduce the leads screentime and the fans start bashing them they immediately gives a lot of romantic scenes to calm the fans down. Kyy ended up being a love story from a friendship story and became a huge hit solely because the makers took what was working in favor of them and gave maximum importance to manik-nandini love story. No kyy fan will ever say we didn't get enough of manik-nandini. When itv makes a love story with young leads like kitni mohabbat hai or ek duje ke vaaste the love story of the leads is primary and the family politics is secondary. Those family politics will be solely to make the leads story go forward. In ASA more than half of the things happening in muktar house has nothing to do with the main story and don't affect ushroze in anyway. They are just there to eat up the screentime.

I agree ITV do it well where they do give great leads scenes and even angry and all that, most of the time they keep them together. We got to see so many khushi Arnav scenes in IPKKND, Raghu and dhanak in Gathbandhan, meher sarabjeet in choti Sardarni, and even veer and bani in Naagin 5 and it was supposed to be a supernatural show. Whilst apart from CS the old version, other shows had crap tracks but the leads would get maximum screen time and at times the whole episode. Fans would be happy seeing them but here they only stopped showing that Romeo recently and now I want to see him and I never thought I would say this but if it’s between him and Naima I will take Romeo 😂😂😂

Like when they asked Lindsey Graham that who would you support as a President? Donald Trump or Ted Cruise and he replied what difference does it make now? It’s like asking how do you want to die - poison or a gunshot 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Exactly! In ASA leads are secondary and at this point I don’t even know what the heck the story is and I am not even worried. I wished had they shown a slow burn hate to love but nope we have this where I think even the leads have given up - we are after all audiences.

Yes I am really loving udaari - that girls mother is a riot I love her. But I don’t like the other tall lady she isn’t being very nice but I guess she will regret it.

The reason why we all are so pissed because the expectations were raised so high and it feels like makers made a fool out of audience. Is it so difficult to understand for makers who have been working in industry for years to keep themselves in audience shoes and show what the audience wants. People loved Ushroz for their basic characteristics which they ruined forever.

They never focused on usha's side. They had the time to write a vlog on sufiyan and his feelings but not the Female lead. We still don't know what was going on in her head when she encouraged sufi saabun to try and manaofy zainab. Then when she understood her mother won't change her decision she simply went along with it and married shehroze. It's more than obvious that ushna wasn't even attracted to shehroze in any ways. They even hinted at her having some kind of feelings for sufiyan and then suddenly she don't give a flying duck for him. Then the girl that slapped huzaifa for misbehaving with her for the first time never raised her voice at sufi saabun. She can slap huzaifa and say what not to shehroze without any consideration but cannot handle sufi saabun? It's like they diluted her characterisation to somewhat justify sufi saabun's obsession over her.

In udaari even the villain is a well written character. The drama wasnt even a love story and still managed to give a proper healthy love story with character growth b/w arsh and Meera.

I think they just extend the basic story by adding more scenes in between. With ASA even the scenes that are airing now has been shot months ago. So they cannot scrap everything and write a completely different story. They might have added more ushroze scenes but that simply means they hardly had any scenes before.

Sufi saabun getting the file has been shot ages ago. If you see shehroze in blue blazers in the precap, that's the time when Usama was slim and had trimmed beard which means it was shot before ramdan😆.

After all the complaints from fans over excessive screentime for Romeo i think the makers cut down his scenes but Romeo took revenge by adding more naagin scenes🤣. They replaced creepy with naagin instead of ushroze.

Exactly, even if i have seen side characters, they mostly used to be around leads. For example, the story was reasonable till the time Sufiyan and Family were planning to separate Ushroz as they were unintentionally playing cupid in Ushroz development . But now, it looks completely out of place. They have nothing to do with Ushroz. I so wish ,they had continued that murder attempt thingy and showed Ushroz as a strong unit. But they wasted a decent plot. I will make sure, i dont watch this writer's drama ever.
