I think since there are 4 trps for ASA it's hard to put it with dramas that airs only once a week.

I totally agree. We cannot judge someone based on our own parameters and expect other women to do what we would have done in that situation. Shehroze might say disrespectful things which we might feel is unforgivable but ushna might not. Ushna also says stuff that are disrespectful according to the culture and shehroze don't dwell deep into it either. They both are used to each other being rude and disrespectful to each other. If zainab manipulates ushna against shehroze we all can expect ushna to say worst things to shehroze as well.
I also don't jugde 90s or early 2000 movies and series based on today's standards. I have seen a lot of people hate on Ross for Rachel leaving her job in Paris. They all convinently forget it was Rachel's own choice and she chose Ross over her job. There is nothing wrong in it. It's all about women making choices. Ross only said he still loves her. Rachel was the one who made the choice. Also it's a comedy series and a lot of stuff are shown in a light hearted manner. There is no need to dwell deep into everything they do and say. A lot of things the characters does and say are for comedy.
Why not? What’s the point of discussing anything then? We all have said Shehroz is rude, mumma’s boy, brat, chauvinistic and Ushna doesn’t see him like that now. We can’t pick and choose and in my opinion everyone can have their opinion there doesn’t have to agreement on everything.
We all agreed that Zunaisha made the best decision and no one in real life will take a Shehroz that’s our parameters isn’t it?
I think everyone can say what they want and there shouldn’t be any expectations that other should agree too. If they do great and if they don’t great. Those who love Shehroz can keep loving him and those who don’t keep not loving him.
Shehroze isn't a nice guy but he isn't exactly a bad guy either like sufi creepy.
He isn't manipulative and don't interfere in anyone's life other than people close to him. So his spoiled arrogant bratty attitude is not harmful for the society.
He isn't as nice as arsh from udaari( that's the standard for pak drama ML for me) but he clearly isn't a shamsher from ktk. Shamsher also seems to be a rich spoiled brat but is a nuisance to the entire society.
He does love people to the fullest and his possessive and obsessive nature isn't to the harmful level like shamsher.

I am judging him based on what he has done till now. He only showed niceness after his mother told him which is good and he was growing - I don’t think he changed either he can’t he is Naima’s son that’s his blood. He used his ruthlessness elsewhere and not at home but he was extremely rude to Ushna and even Romeo when he was in wrong.
He showed growth which stopped now. I guess my standards are very high. Ushna was wrong too but she learns from her mistakes but Shehroz doesn’t. He confessed love when he blasted Ushna that she cares for Romeo more than him. Lately let’s say he sees his mother as right but he has also seen his mother can be very wrong and was wrong. He has also seen his mother being very mean - back then he was nice to her and yes he supported Ushna about divorce but he should have listened to his mother now that I look back.
Ushna was wrong and I admitted that too and in fact I was angry when she was flip flopping I don’t justify bad actions. Right now Shehroz is wrong. Ushna should go personal too that’s why I say throw Zunaisha at his face and give him tit for tat. He says women aren’t compared to men she should say who wants competition when men is like you - no thanks.
Yeah, Ushna accepts her mistakes but Shehroz does not want to change.

I don’t think he can unless he will see his mother doing it but then he will forgive her if she asks so hun I won’t worry too much about it.

Yes you are absolutely right as it is a cultural clash. I don’t understand certain things and I can’t ever imagine being in that situation. Coming from a family where everyone is equal I find it very hard when I see a man saying I am okay with you coming from bad blood but then also say pick between your mother or me.
I guess for me ITV still makes sense but PTV is work in progress. I can never imagine being a man with so much contradictions lol 😂 I will kill him or he will dump me but there won’t be a happy ending there. First time I watched a PTV drama where the man raised his hand on a woman and then they were fine I was like whaaa!!!! Why is still with him? With ITV they wait until they are married😂😂😂😂
Rather than progressive mindset it should be progressive growth where slowly as you mature you change yourself for the better. Like a FL going no dowry but then doesn’t say anything when her SIL wants to take some. That’s a contradiction to me as if you are no to dowry it should be a flat out NO and not cherry picking no.
I don’t know if you watched the movie Wedding Singer where Drew’s mum tells her that as your fiancé is not setting a date, get pregnant and then it should be okay. I guess in real world to a parent like that we can say no back off and they will whereas in tele they won’t.
Itv too is full of toxic men,even worse. My last show lead was everything , much more worse than Shehroz is . They ended up together. The guy kidnapped the girl, mentally tortured her, tied her on a chair in front of a moving truck, character assassinated her, sent girls brother to jail, forcefully married her. He was whitewashed later for everrything. Even after marriage, he cheated on her, they ended up together. I am talking about Mehndi hai rachne wali that ended last year
Of course Ushna was wrong multiple times and you forgot not blocking Romeo. But I still find Shehroz wrong here. My opinion will not change and that’s because I don’t think any guy who calls himself a lead acts like a villain. All the other characters you listed are all bad guys and hamza is boycott for me too. My point is no matter who is right or wrong there is a thing called decency. If you claim you love someone then you better give them respect no matter the circumstances. Shehroz not being able to do that makes me question his love.
Ushna may be wrong but she after marriage and after declaring her love hasn’t told Shehroz to pick between two women, she doesn’t go mad when Shehroz goes gossiping with his mother and that’s her upbringing as opposed to Shehroz whose mother mollycoddled him to no end. For me he is worse than any villain as at least with villain I know they are bad that’s expected whereas Shehroz is a wolf in sheeps clothing. When he finds out about his mother he will repent, big deal. They made a huge mistake dragging this show but one good thing my shipping stopped 😂😂😂😂 don’t care for on or off screen shipping anymore 😂😂😂
Ushna apologised when she realised her mistake although it wasn’t a mistake but anyway and if he can’t move on then that’s Shehroz’s problem not hers. She could say you dropped honeymoon and I dropped the function matter over.
What we are ignoring here is ushna is also fully capable of being disrespectful if she gets manipulated by zainab the same way shehroze is being manipulated. We already saw ushna being manipulated, that too by sufi saabun and her reaction to that and her regretting it.
Shehroze is only on his way. He will also repent when truth comes out. Why are we putting an expectation level on shehroze when we never did that with ushna? If ushna can be forgiven for the way she treated her own mother then why cannot shehroze be forgiven in the future for the way he treated his wife if he truely repents what he did? If shehroze don't deserve ushna for whatever he is gonna do under manipulation then ushna also don't deserve zainab for whatever she said and did.
Why do we easily forgive ushna and have an iron fist for shehroze? It's not like shehroze was shown to be a matured level headed guy from the start. It's already established that he is a mumma's boy and is a spoiled brat of highest level. On the other hand ushna was shown to be more sensible and she still ended up doing wrong things multiple times.
The only difference here is we as audience knows ushna is in the right and shehroze isn't. It's not the case for shehroze. According to him he is right.

That guy started out as villain didn’t he? I didn’t watch that show. I loved sarabjeet of choti Sardarni and veer of Naagin 5. He was a bad character but he was consistent and bani the Naagin was a bad arse too so that worked. I hated the forced marriage track but she was full on I will bite you and kept meeting her ex all the time and he was angry but didn’t overdo it except once. I hated when ekta ruined him and I stopped watching.
But ITV I know if it’s ekta and Gul they will ruin it. Other show I watch the FL are dhasu girls and I love that. But after love confession generally things change here it’s going backwards lol 😂

Yes , he started as a villain but his actions were no less than Shamsher. I wont lie, even i used to ship them in the name of beauty and beast but with time , i started to learn how probelamtic it could be.. I still feel Shehroz is not harmful when i compare him with other male leads but that is my opinion. He needs to learn and grow , and he is more of a kiddish guy who has not grown but not evil .
