Before NTO hum ek poora package lete thy kisi dish operator se right?? So usme se hi har channel, network ko uske according paise mil jaate thy
Broadcasters pahle Dish operators, cable operators, dpos etc inko apne channel ka poora package bechte thy fix amount me phir dish wale unn channels ka mix package banake humko ek particular fix price pe bechte thy.
Evn when channel was not available in particular bouquet of cable operators and tab hume woh channel lena hota tha toh uski price deke ala carte basis pe lena padta tha
Koi bhi channel free nhi tha except few like dd national, 9xm type channels, star utsav, anmol, rishtey, dangal, news channels etc jo aaj bhi free hai
Before NTO free dish thi toh agr yeh channel free hote toh free dish pe dekhne ko milte nhi kya ??
NTO se sirf ek cheez badli hai ki ab broadcasters direct apne packages banake viewers ko bech sakte hai lekin pahle woh DPOs ko bechte thy and phir DPOs uska alag combo pack banake hume bechte thy
