People get influenced by movies to the extent girls get plastic surgery to look like their favs. Makeup, clothes, etc. Product placement in movies happens because of the influence.

Parents go overboard at weddings. Certain behaviors are portrayed as cool. Social acceptability.

I agree audience should know to differentiate between movies and reality, but it doesn't happen. Art should remain art, with all its creative freedom, but at least in G rated movies, makers should consider social responsibility. Not forced to, but consider it their ethical responsibility.

Like Prithviraj (Malayalam actor) said, he would still portray bad characters, but he wouldn't do movies which justified those things.

I think she was trying to be funny but the joke didn't land. Also marriage being similar to KGF doesn't make any sense if you have actually seen the movie. 🤷‍♀️

She was trying too hard here which is not necessary, her joke fell flat and the comparison with KGF did not make sense atleast should have used Kank or Gehrayiaan, maybe she doesn't see a lot of Hindi movies

If you look at some old interviews especially with NTR jr and Vijay or Allu Arjun and Trivikram.

You can see her enjoying and being hilariously funny. With witty and fun co stars she is very funny. She had Akki here and could have been herself.

She's joking. And in a way she's only flattering kj by saying that his films have ruined marriages because they raised the expectations of people in their romantic relationships because of his fluffy films. 🤔

I read on here she does plastic surgery, she is nothing less than kjo when it comes to giving unrealistic expectations to others..

Samantha during her wedding with chay was all over the internet claiming it to be her fairytale, her forever love, her one true soulmate, the best decision of her entire life, the most handsome husband on the planet, a “Mrs akkineni” bathrobe of all things …and yada yada

She totally bought into kjos idea of romance and fairytales and thought the same applied to her life …

She may have unknowingly perpetuated the same false hope amongst millions of her followers …
