Throwback tales

So we've crossed 200 epi of ASR and I've joined this show and fd half-way sometime around the marriage track . Oh how I wish I could have witnessed Arylie and ASR's journey from the beginning and be a member here.

I'm really curious about how things were back in fd wrt to Arylie and Aryan. How everyone took a liking to this character , how he was perceived initially, when did Arylie start, reaction to first Janiya, reaction to first dance etc etc. In nutshell anything and everything related to the show, Arylie onscreen, offscreen kuch bhi.

So on suggestion of our dear friend Pooja (@param-sundari) who mentioned that a lot of active members now haven't been with the show and fd from the beginning, I decided to make this thread where we could ask throwback questions relating to the show especially Arylie and the vetarans could recount the events for us.

This is an opportunity for some of us to live those good olden days that we missed. It is open for everybody to ask and to respond.

PS: Tagging some folks who might be interested and members who have interacted with this post on another thread so that they get notified of this thread. Rest assured everybody is free to participate and tag your pals.

So firstly I want to know about the entry of ASR. I read somewhere that there wasn't any promo for his entry. So is it like in epi 310 this new character was introduced without any premise for the TV audience. Online people must have got some buzz I believe about this new entry. what was the general buzz about this new character and Fahmaan ?

I'll keep it short — the buzz, assumption and expectation was that here's a villian who's here to unite AdiLie. 🤣

And then there was another group, who despite the foreshadowing and symbolisms from day 1, thought that Aryan was going to be the villian who'll fall in love with the FL and his love will be unrequited. 😆

And then there were those who secretly hoped that with Aryan Singh Rathore, fate was finally, finally, smiling at Imlie from Pagdandiya. 💫

No, that promo was released much after first jaaniya.

I don't think so. Someone on twitter mentioned that there was no promo for his intro but again I don't know how credible is this news.

I know that the car pushing promo didn't actually air on the show.

Thanks for this thread. Even I started watching the show around marriage track only but right now I'm completely obsessed with Aryan and Arylie and would love to know the answers to all the questions

So only one group got it right out of three😆. Although I sensed some ambiguity regarding ASR's characterization in the beginning.

I have same thoughts That ASR here in the IMLIE for unite AdiLie or helping career then he falls for imlie then turn into villian bcs that's what makers and creative do into ITV

Around ASR entry all others show new entry for female lead in their show now they are fall for female lead and turn into negative character🤣🤣🤣

Honestly, there wasn't much ambiguity really. Aryan was always supposed to be everything that Aditya wasn’t and that'show he was scripted. The only couple instances where he had un-Aryanlike scenes was when they made him splash water on Imlie and tie her up with the dupatta. I always viewed those scenes as a siren call to Gul loyalists/new Imlie viewers as if to say, Gul's male lead has finally arrived in Imlie as well – though he is incomparable to his predecessors.
