Are butchering in the sense uske core se ched chad nai.. I love when aryan shows his vulnerable side..Even in this track, I don't have any problem.with how they showed.

But gul is not ekta, As far as I know her writers never change core characters of leads.

I think the "butchering" fear is because no one writes nuanced conflicts anymore. We can't have the FL being wrong (look at how the idea that Imlie's devotion to T family was toxic to herself was completely washed).. Toh bacha bechaara ML to toy with...

... So you have shows where the ML has an khulam khulla extramarital affair or is getting both the sisters pregnant or misbehaves with the FL on the smallest pretext of misunderstanding etc etc. .. (all ongoing shows btw)

And these both ghonchus don't have scope for all this crap. Even now they have had to dumb down aryan to stretch this track...

I'm not sure what malini didi can even do now. Notice how imlie has become so secure of her place in Aryan's life. She knows he loves her like a loon. Toh kya karegi didi?
