It happened in kahi unkahi where sheriyan munawar himself agreed to marry a rich modern urwa hoccane( it's another thing that her entire family include her was a gold digger) but falls for the more sanskari but poor Ayesha Khan. He was confused with the two girls for a while.

Any educated financially independent women don't have the need to cater to the overgrown mumma's boy and the mumma but that aspect is shown to be bad in dramas. It's like they have made a box of how a girl should be and the once that fix in that box is the FL and the one that don't is the villain.

Kyy was really too modern for an itv because it showed sexually active teenagers, gay characters, kissing scenes, bikini scenes, teenage pregnancy and all. They also never showed that girls wearing shorts clothes as villains.

They have these little silos where they put girls according to their requirements. In this day and age girls don’t want a mumma’s boy. I am not here to compensate for your Oedipal complex where you see your mother in me.

Other thing is those abla girls are all pure and better than a modern headstrong girl, why? That narrative is so wrong on every level. If I sit quiet and put up my upbringing was perfect but if I raise my voice I had bad upbringing? It should be other way around in my opinion.

That’s as realistic as it can get isn’t? That’s what happens in real life too and I love that the show tried to show all that. Definitely watching it now 😜😜

It used to air at 7 and i always pray that my parents won't be at home when it airs😆. I used to watch it in front of my parents but i will have to control my blushing whenever manik goes too close to nandini and he is always way too close to nandini.

He literally had some disease where his hands will automatically touch nandini. He used to do that even when he was bullying her and according to him hated her🤣

Yesterday,I came across this show's next episode promo..looks like the leads are going to have a contract marriage.

Now that in ek aur sitam ruksati is done ,I am really dreading to watch..just reading the updates ...I thought habs can perhaps help with ushna -shehroz withdrawal symptoms😆
