I know the hype's not there for this drama but I love, love, love it! This drama is a Wattpad novel picturized. 16 year old me would have gone crazy over it. And 25 year old me is enjoying it immensely as well. Never been a Feroze Khan fan, but Basit has all the qualities that I would want in a man. He is polite, kind, gentle and so so decent. A man of principles. He may not be the most dashing or good looking person in the room but his eyes have a kindness to them that makes him an ideal for me. People might classify it as boring, but in real life, I'd rather have boring Basit than a handsome Shamsher.

I think you and I are in the same boat. I initially found this show really slow, I knew it had potential, but was getting so annoyed with the amount of time wasted on build up. They spent literally 3 episodes on same information regurgitation. I am no fan of Feroze Khan either, but Basit as a character really is very attractive, also because I am so tired of the toxic, chauvinistic and frankly OTT heroes these days on PTV. And I have to say the actress and he have amazing chemistry. The old fashioned kind,
And the decency and principles that the two characters have is what makes them super attractive together, it is like a variation on P&P, let’s say, but with a contract marriage twist.

But at least for now, the complex is believable. It can be redeemed and his behavior isn’t over the top. He has pride, but no arrogance. He has prejudices but doesn’t put down people. He is dominating but not aggressive. This makes the character a treat to watch, otherwise frankly an over possessive, over aggressive character (male) is as boring to watch as a sati savitri bechari type character (female).

I actually find the mother of the girls a very very interesting character, I also think it’s because it’s played so brilliantly by the actress. Subtly with no OTT - she is selfish and poverty drives her to make selfish choices.

Ayesha’s mom is over the top. Wish they didn’t drag it with Bano’s suicide attempt. Main thing I really like is Ayesha and Basit. As leads they are a breath of fresh air. The hero isn’t toxic or psycho. The heroine isn’t weak and crying all the time.

Totally agree! The day he pulls her, jerks her around, I will stop watching, so far at least it doesn’t seem like his character will do so.

I do realize TV needs some OTT characters and I rather have them in mothers because there is an inbuilt justification for her behavior- usually poverty or obsession with son because husband ignores her and in built justification for the other person unable to get away due to the relationship.
None of this applies to a relationship between the hero and heroine. There is never any need for OTT behavior from the guy to the girl or viceversa. Those stories have to stop.

Vaise Basit adhe size bada shirt nahi pehen sakta? Mujhe tou darr thaa in the scene with Ayesha’s mom, kahi uski shirt phatke muscles bahar na nikal aaye. Vaise kya Pata Aisha ki ammi dekhke faint hi Ho jaati!!!! Storyline Kuch aur hi Ho jaata!!

I also love the relationship between Aisha and Bano, the way Aisha shakes her head when the bangles are put, and the way Bano slightly nods. It shows their bond, I do hope this isn’t the end of it. Their relationship reminds me of Lizzy and Jane in Pride and Prejudice.

BTW raise your hand if you burst out laughing at Zoya calmly eating her food when Ammi went total ballistic, and saying, “Mitti ki tel hai nahi aur cooking oil se aag nahi lagti” just hilarious!!

The three sisters in many ways represent the varied ways circumstances and our surroundings build our character,

Bano with her heart on her sleeve, and emotional and sensitive

Aisha with her heart and mind constantly tussling, principled and loving

Zoya with her mind overtaking her heart, practical and stubborn

Oh Basit, you sweet innocent child 😆 you went straight to the lion's pit 🤣 The way Ayesha's mother's expression changed..I'm sure she was imagining money raining down her home 😆

and the younger sister staring at him like he's eye candy 🤣

Today's episode was amazing 😳

I have always thought that Ushna has an amazing chemistry with Faisal only but Ushna is looking so good with Feroze also. Their chemistry is just fire ☺️

I enjoy this drama so much. First time ever I don’t have to ask what did Feroze say?😆
